Chapter 10

I was running from something fast and massive. 

It was in the middle of the night and the full moon was out.

It was obvious that I was in the woods nearest to my house.

It had just rained so the ground was wet and very slippery and I was fully aware of that, so I was extremely careful.

I could hear the loud howls of the beast that was coming after me. 

It was getting closer and closer with every step I made. 

I ran as fast as I could but I knew that in time the beast would catch up to me, but then a little thought of hope crossed my mind as I saw a narrow opening between two giant rocks. 

I was certain that I could squeeze myself between the rocks and if I could hide there, the beast might pass me by without figuring my hiding spot. 

I ran towards the opening and squeezed myself, I made sure that I didn't get cut because I knew that if I bled, the beast could
