Louis’ POV

I paced back and forth across my room like a man possessed, hands tangled in my hair, heart pounding like a drum in my chest. The silence of the house was deafening, until the low purr of an engine cut through it like a blade. My ears perked, my entire body freezing. I moved quickly to the window, parting the curtains with trembling fingers.

There she was, my wife.

Coming out of that damned car.

His car.

Samuel.

My jaw clenched so hard it hurt. My hands balled into fists at my sides, trembling with restrained fury. I hated him, hated how comfortable she looked next to him, hated that she was even in his damn car to begin with. I had told myself she didn’t really like him, that it was just a show, a rebound. But now?

They were hugging.

No. Not just hugging.

He was holding her like she belonged to him.

And she was letting him.

Then, God, he kissed her.

On the forehead first.

Then the lips.

My breath caught in my throat.

I felt like someone had sucker-punched me right in the g

  • My Wife, My Blackmailer    The call

Evelyn’s POVMy fingers trembled as I stared at the phone screen. The message still glowed in my inbox. Not infertile. The weight of that truth pressed down on me like a building had collapsed over my chest. I couldn’t cry anymore. My body had run dry. All that remained was a hollow ache in my stomach… and a voice screaming in my head.He lied.He knew. And he still touched me like that. Took from me like that.I could still feel the echo of last night in my bones. In my bruised thighs. In the silence between my thoughts. And yet… even through the trauma, I knew I had something more terrifying to deal with. The alarm blared from my phone like a siren calling me back to war.It was time.My fingers trembled as I reached for the phone. The weight of everything, the lies, the trauma, the fact that I was the one pulling the strings, settled heavy in my chest like wet cement. I wasn’t in the right state of mind. Not after everything that happened. My body still ached from what that bastard

  • My Wife, My Blackmailer    He's not infertile

Evelyn’s POVAll I could think, no, feel, was that this man… this husband of mine had planned everything. From the very beginning. He didn’t want to let me go. He never did. And now, he’d finally found a way to trap me, just like he trapped my sister.Pregnancy.The idea gripped my chest like a vice. My whole body still ached, especially between my legs, throbbing reminders of last night. Pain. Shame. And confusion. Because I couldn’t remember it. Not a single moment. Not how it started. Not how it ended. Just flashes… fragments of skin and weight and helplessness. What if I had said something? What if I’d spoken in my sleep? What if he knew now?Oh God.I can’t let him find out. No one can. He especially can’t know that I can talk. That secret, my voice, is all I have left. If he finds out, everything ends. But right now, there was something even bigger.“If you’re so sure you’re infertile,” I typed furiously, holding up my phone for him to see, “then let’s go get tested. Right now.

  • My Wife, My Blackmailer    Waking up next to her

Louis’s POVMy head felt heavy, my body sore, but none of it mattered. Not yet. Not when the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was her.Evelyn.She was lying beside me, her eyes wide in shock, her hand pressed over her mouth like she was trying to silence a scream. Her chest was rising and falling too fast, and for a moment, she didn’t move, just stared at me like I was some monster she didn’t recognize.Reality slammed into me with brutal force. The night before, it wasn’t a dream.I blinked, my throat dry as sand. My gaze dropped to the tangled sheets, the bruises on her skin, the faint trail of dried blood on her thighs. Guilt hit me like a wrecking ball. She grabbed her phone with trembling fingers, her eyes never leaving mine as she furiously typed. She held the screen up to my face."What the hell did you do to me?"Her words felt like knives, slicing through every part of me. My mouth opened, but no sound came out.I sat up slowly, my chest tightening. “Evelyn… I—”No. I

  • My Wife, My Blackmailer    Accidental Sex

Evelyn’s POVI struggled from his grip and shoved the papers into his face, the crinkling sound of the envelope felt like it reverberated through my bones. His eyes never left me, like they were holding on to the last thread of something that didn’t exist anymore. And it made me sick, because I knew deep down, I was breaking something inside me too, just by doing this.My fingers trembled as I typed on my phone, pushing it towards him, each word more bitter than the last. “I’m leaving, Louis. This is it. There’s no coming back. I’m divorcing you.” I didn’t look at him as I said it, just kept typing furiously, trying to distance myself, as if the words would erase all the hurt we had tangled ourselves into over the years. The envelope was still clutched in his hand, his knuckles turning white from the pressure. His eyes never wavered from mine, but there was something there, a crack in his tough facade. I wanted to look away, but I couldn’t.I shoved past him, my pulse roaring in my ea

  • My Wife, My Blackmailer    Just Admit It

Evelyn’s POVI barely processed what had just happened. The sound of Samuel’s fist hitting Louis’ jaw still echoed in my mind as I turned to rush back toward them. My breath came out in harsh gasps, my heart pounding in my chest, but it wasn’t just because of the physical fight I had just witnessed. It was the collision of so many feelings that I couldn’t even begin to untangle.I was furious, furious at Louis for being so blind, so foolish. But there was this... thing, this undeniable instinct in me that wanted to protect him. I couldn’t help it. It didn’t matter how much I told myself I didn’t care anymore, the truth was written all over me.He had fallen. And as much as I hated to admit it, so had I.I was already halfway there when I stopped myself. My hand was already reaching out, ready to stop this madness, but I pulled back. What was I going to do?But the worst part? It wasn’t that I was angry. It wasn’t even the fight. It was the way he had looked at me, eyes desperate, clin
