"Joe, forget about it."

Ted Johnson wrapped his arm around Wren Anderson's shoulders and sucked on her earlobe.

"My dear, let's do it again, alright?"

Wren put her cigarette out and took out a new condom from her bedside cabinet.

As she tore the packaging open, she laughed at me, "Aren't you going to leave? Or are you staying to watch?"

"I don't mind my brother watching."

Ted pulled his blanket down, exposing his chest.

I clenched my fists and took a deep breath.

"I'll draft the divorce agreement. Once you're free, let's make it official."

Wren smiled indifferently. She ignored me as she started flirting with Ted.

I could no longer stand it. "Since you're not objecting, I'll take it as a yes."

As I left, my eyes teared up from the cold wind.

I thought I would be able to deal with it calmly since I had experienced the same thing before.

However, I had underestimated how painful it was to have a past wound triggered.

Ted did not call me his brother to just disgust me.

It was because I was truly his older brother, even though we were not blood-related.

My parents passed away when I was younger. In order to make a living, I dropped out of school and started working.

I met him when I was on my way to work. He was an orphan just like me.

I paid for his education until he completed university. On his first birthday after he graduated, I secretly went to his rented apartment to surprise him.

However, as midnight struck, two very familiar figures came in with their hands all over each other's bodies.

Back then, I was extremely hurt when my ex, Luna Brown, cheated on me with Ted. Wren knew it best.

She also knew how embarrassed I was to go through the divorce proceedings.

In the past, she had put in great effort to get Ted and Luna out of Middle City, just to take revenge on them for me.

She was also the one who saved me from suicide attempts.

However, she chose to be with the person who hurt me the most.

What a joke.

I initially thought she was my lifesaver. Yet, she turned around and stabbed me in the back.

I had just driven out of the mansion when a few Maybachs suddenly surrounded me.

"Mr. Taylor, Ms. Anderson said that you can't leave."

The few bodyguards dragged me out of the car and locked me up in the mansion.

I could hear them upstairs. It took a long time for them to be done.

Wren leaned against Ted's chest as they slowly walked downstairs. She smirked and said, "Sorry for the long wait."

I swept my gaze across the two of them. At once, I noticed that they were wearing matching pajama sets.

Ted tugged on his clothes when he saw my gaze.

"Isn't this nice, Joe?

"I heard from Wren that you personally made these two pajama sets.

"You spent more than a year on them! You're such a patient man. I could never make something as detailed as this."

I clenched my fists and looked away. I said in a low voice, "Just the cheap thing I bought online.

"What kind of idiot would spend so much time making two pajama sets?"

Wren's hand froze around the cup, and her eyes turned cold.

"Since the pajamas are so cheap, I'll give them to Ted, then."

I loosened my grip and smiled indifferently.

"Ted's my younger brother after all. Ms. Anderson, you're the wealthiest person in Middle City. Isn't it too stingy of you to only give him such cheap pajamas?"
