We got to the hospital and they attended to Duke’s injury immediately. He was unconscious because he lost a lot of blood, so I stayed by his side waiting for him to wake up.

I fear that when he wakes up, he will leave without saying anything to me, as I did to him, so I stayed awake.

“Anything yet?”
