“Shit,” I swore as I saw the burned veggies over the stove.

We both looked at each other with a shocked expressions on our face. She quickly clocked her body towards the direction of the stove and turned it off.

“Pheww… Finally,” she breathed the sigh of relief as she turned towards me. We both looked at each other and then laughed out loud. The small cottage was filled with the laughters of ours which could be only heard by her and me.

“That was all because of you,” she blamed me as she got down of the counter and started cleaning up.

“Excuse me! What did I do?” I said trying to tease her one more time.
