Domineering

Just like he promised, Damien dropped Eva near her apartment building. Eva ran inside and locked herself inside the safety of her room.

"What just happened? I asked for a one-night stand. But I got him instead. I will surely never drink again" she thought.

She showered and changed her clothes from last night. Her panties are missing, thanks to that beast of a man who tore them off her body. She quickly brushed her hair and dashed off towards her first class, which is about to start in 5 minutes. Her friend has an early class today, that must be the reason why she is not waiting for her by the door and demanding what exactly happened last night.

The day passed by slower than Eva wanted to. Her body is sore and she can feel her muscles protest with every single move. Every time her muscles ache, there is a tingling sensation between her legs, despite her core being sore.

After the day ended, just like she expected Cassy was waiting for her as soon as she stepped inside her apartment.

"What the hell Eva? Where were you? I was so worried for you. Do you know who that man is? Don't tell me you lost your virginity last night. Say something, why are you standing there like a statue? I was pacing all night with worry and you didn't even think of calling me and telling me that you are fine. I asked around the pub and found out his name and identity. But none of his friends are willing to tell me his address. Did he hurt you? What happened last night?" Cassy bombarded Eva with so many questions, that Eva was not given a second in between to answer at least one of them.

"Now stop and breath for a second" Eva muttered and plopped on the couch tiredly.

Cassy sat beside Eva and looked at her expectantly.

Eva sighed and shared everything that happened last night with her friend. She intentionally left out their intimate details. After she finished telling everything, Cassy is speechless.

"Cass, you are scaring me," Eva said when Cassy remained too quiet for comfort. 

Cassy looked at Eva with an anxious expression.

"Eva, you don't even know his name. But you went and called him gay and provoked him to sleep with you. And he did, damn why won't he? He is a powerful and dominant man for God's sake. These kinds of men are always up for a challenge. If you challenge them, there is no way they will back down" Cassy began to mutter almost absently. Like she is talking to herself and not to Eva.

Eva is shocked to hear that the guy is not powerful and rich. She thought he must be an average businessman. By the amount of confidence coming off of him, it's obvious he is powerful. She never felt this much power even in the presence of her father. Her father is a businessman who belongs to a Yoke family. He is rich and powerful in his own right. But not like this. She was in shock this morning and she couldn't think straight and assumed he is just a rich man. But now she knows differently.

Cassy is not done, she was still talking to herself. But what she said next made Eva's heart pound louder and faster with fear.

"His name is Xavier and he is a friend of your brother-in-law Damien," Cassy said.

Slowly Eva turned towards Cassy with wide anxious eyes.

"Cass?" She said and the fear in that one word made Cassy stop talking and turn towards her best friend.

"What?" She asked with barely contained frustration.

"He is my brother-in-law's friend?" Eva asked with a panic-filled voice.

Cassy sighed feeling bad for Eva.

"He is" she confirmed.

Eva is now shaking with fear. 

"How sure are you Cass?" Eva asked, her mouth is now as dry as a desert.

Cassy is feeling anxious and she is worried for Eva.

"Last night your brother-in-law was supposed to come to that same pub. Three of his friends were waiting for him in the VIP area. And Xavier, your one-night stand is one of them. I inquired around and found out that it's their usual. They always come to this pub once a month to cool off" Cassy revealed what she gathered from the patrons in the pub last night. But sadly none of them know where Xavier lives. So she couldn't warn Eva.

Tears are now streaming down Eva's cheek.

"If my father finds out about this, then he will kill me. Rose will taunt me as long as I am alive. Jake will take this and use it to continue fooling around after our marriage. I made everything worst" Eva whispered sadly.

Cassy placed a reassuring hand on Eva's shoulder.

"Eva, all this will happen if it gets to your father. But what if it doesn't? You said you didn't share any of your details with him last night. So he might never find out you are Jake's fiancee. Relax" Cassy tried to assure Eva, but even she can find a hundred loopholes in her theory.

Eva shook her head in denial.

"They will all come to the engagement ceremony next month. Damien and Rose's engagement is also on the same day. There is not a chance that Xavier wouldn't see and recognize me then and there. He is my brother-in-law's best friend. He will definitely share this with him. Rose always tells me how much my brother-in-law loves and pampers her. There is no way he will hide this from Rose. Everything will come crashing down as soon as she finds out. What did I land myself into, Cass? I am scared" Eva confessed with fear.

Like the best friend that she is, Cassy decided to stay by her best friend's side in every odds that she faces. If this escalates, she knows she has to feel the heat as well. But she cannot leave her best friend when she needs her the most.

"Don't worry Eva, we will try to find a way out of this" she said trying to assure Eva.
