CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Roselyn called to inform me she will be coming over to my place today.

“Hi, babe. Send your address, and I will see you soon.”

I am so happy to see her again; at least I will have someone to chat with and be free from boredom.

I quickly sent the address and voila, she was here in no time.

She exclaimed when she saw the interior of the building.

“Babe, you have a really nice house here, you are so lucky to get married to a rich man” That's Roseline for you, she commented on every little thing she saw.

“Rose just have a seat and stop overreacting” I cautioned her.

Just then, Lawson came downstairs, so I used the opportunity to introduce them to each other.

“ Rose,  this is my husband, Lawson. Lawson, this is my high school girlfriend Roselyn”. They greeted and Lawson excused himself.

“Rachel, I will be heading out, I will be back in a jiffy”. He informed me and left.

“Rachel, your husband is quite charming and rich also, his face looks familiar, I have seen him before but I can't remember where I last saw him” She tried to remember but couldn't then she gave up.

We had a great time together, we talked about so many things, the boys in the school, the teachers, the things we did together, our first boyfriends, and so on.

"How could you disappear just like that without any prior notice, you left me shattered and I kept hoping you would show up one day until I gave up"

" I am sorry, it wasn't my fault , I got home from school one day and Dad told me we are moving to California, he had been transferred. What could I do? I don't have anyone to send to you and you know I wasn't allowed to use a phone" Roselyn explained.

" So how was California? Did you make new friends, and why are you back here?"

" California was fun and lovely, but I missed you too much when we left. I had a few friends but not as close as we were. I got married and have a son."

" You are married? Why is your husband and son not here with you then". I asked

" As for my husband, we are divorced, and my son is with my family, I will go pick him up when I settle".

“ Roselyn, are you seeing someone these days? Do you want to talk about it?” I asked politely.

“ Sure, let's talk about our relationships. I got married to the love of my life and we both had a son. His mother is the problem I had while in the marriage from the first day we got married. She is always on my nerves. I had to quit. That's a story for another day, it's not something to brag about but we are divorced now and I am free like a bird,”. She said happily.

“ What about you Rachel, you are so lucky to have him, he is handsome, rich, and cool, ain't you?” 

“That is the problem, People actually think we are happily married, but sincerely, we are not. This marriage is nothing to write home about.” I lamented.

“My parents forced me to marry him because they owed him, we don't love each other we are just married for sex that's all”.

“ He has many girls that I know about, can you imagine we always have threesomes with Caroline, our maid, is that supposed to be a marriage”. I asked her and she was shocked to hear me say those things.

“ I am in this marriage mainly because I don't want to be disowned as my father is always threatening me to do what he wants”. Am I supposed to be happy about this?

“ Is this all that you are going through, and you guys look good together, people will think you are really enjoying this marriage”. She said

“ But why can't you leave and divorce him”. She said again.

“ If I do that, he would ask for the money my parents owed, where do you expect them to pay such a huge amount of money, maybe when I pay off the debt I can do that”. I explained.

I wasn't happy when Roselyn announced she was leaving, but I couldn't hold her back. I will see her soon in a club she said she is managing for now. She left and I was lonely again at home then I remembered that I needed to meet with Beatrice and I quickly gave her a call.

“Hello, I sent you the address already, when should we meet?”

“ I am on my way already, will be there shortly”.

I had a change of clothes and informed Caroline that I would be going out for a while. 

I drove straight to our meeting point, which is a local restaurant. I chose the place to avoid any suspicion. I spotted her from a distance and moved to where she was.

“Hi Bernice, I won't take much of your time, so let me go straight to the point”. I observed her for a few seconds before I continued.

“ I want a favour from you, will you be of help? I asked. Of course, I know she will say yes.

“I would be glad to help you Ma'am” she said politely.

“Ok good, let's get to business”.

“I know Lawson has lots of girlfriends, but there is this particular girl she is hiding from me, I don't know why but I am sure he won't hide any girl from me”.

“ Do you remember the first time I came to your office? I am sure the girl is hiding in the office because of the shoe I saw inside the office”. Her look gave her away.

“ For Lawson to hide the girl from me, he is definitely hiding something”.

“ Just take a picture of them both for me, or better still If you can get their video that will be better. That's all for now. I will look forward to your call soon I hope”.

“ Do you accept everything I just said? I hope it's not too much to ask? I will reward you handsomely if you do this carefully”. She was calm throughout.

“ I heard everything you said, I will carry it out perfectly, but I hope there won't be any problem”. She asked confidently.

I understood her fear and I smiled.

“Anyways, I can assure you there won't be any problem. 

“And lastly, I don't want anyone to hear about this, it's a secret”. 

I dropped some cash on the table.

“Use this to order what you want” I left the restaurant.

Immediately I got home, I heard Lawson’s car horn. He is back from wherever he went.

“ You are welcome” I greeted him and hugged him tight. Followed him with his briefcase upstairs. 

While he freshened up, I changed into lingerie to attract Lawson.

He came to me immediately when he was out of the bathroom.

“ You are seducing me, let me eat you before eating a real meal” he said smiling while planting a kiss on my lips.

This went on for a while, he started his magic on me with his tongue as usual, I was calling his name and begging him to just fuck me when I could no longer wait, I wanted him inside me badly.

Don't blame me, it's been weeks since we had sex.

Then he finally entered my honeypot, turning me as he wished, thrusting in and out gently before increasing the pace. Truth be told, I always enjoyed each section of it every time we had sex.

“Do you enjoy it?" he kept asking me before changing to another position. 

“ Is this marriage all about sex? When do we start having children? I threw a bombshell.
