Jaden's voice was cut off by the music of the royal family, a guest that nobody knows could be there has just arrived; the son's leader of the Snowlight pack, the next king of all the packs in Snowlight hill, his majesty the crown prince of the werewolves, Drachen Schneider.

All the present were shocked at the presence of the crown prince, after some seconds they came back to their sense and make a reverence to greet him.

Drachen was a very sexy man, an extraordinary boy who has the same age as Jaden, he was as tall as Alucard, he has light blue eyes, and red hair and his factions were manly and he was very strong. He was wearing a blue light suit with a white tie and a blue dark coat with golden roses stamped on it.

Elein smiled happily although she wasn't expecting his presence either she could see the queen in his nephew, however, they weren't related by blood they feel like family and they were very close all thanks to the previous king who adopted Elein.

Elein was an orphan of the Moonlight pack, nobody knows who was her parents so the previous king takes her as a maid for his daughter Marina, Elein was another maid for Marina but they pass too much time together they started to know each other and grew up together. The previous queen saw something extraordinary in Elein and Elizabeth Marina's playmate saw the same too.

That's why the king adopted her as his second daughter, when the three girls have their coming of age ceremony Elein who didn't want the right to the throne passed his power to her sister and his fiancé to make them the only heirs, which makes the previous king very touched, after that he makes a law that makes Elein's family the next in line if Drachen doesn't get married nor has children the Winterlane will be the next royal family.

He talks with a smile, he didn't even spect his parents send him to the ball but it was a big opportunity to see the girl he like.

Elein and Drachen laugh, she hugs his nephew and talks to him for a few minutes but he was looking for something or someone, and when Elein understands she started to make some jokes about "him falling in love with a young beautiful lady" to make him turned red and it really worked.

She stopped when she saw his nephew's face red, she wanted to ask more but Drachen ran away and left his excited aunt curious about who captive the heart Drachen without knowing that she already knows that person.

Drachen was looking for Alice, he was very close with all the Winterlane children, Alice and Jaden were his playmates because they have almost the same age, only Alice was one year older than the boys. While he was walking following the stronger and more delicious scent that he had ever smelled on Alice's body he suddenly saw Jaden discussing with Victor.

He was going to leave him, however, Drachen saw Alice laughing and having fun with Alucard… the so-called new fiancee of the girl. Drachen sights and comes to help Jaden by hugging him when he was near enough to him.

"My dear Jay, how have you been?"

"Dreach... what are you doing?" Jaden complains embarrassed.

"I'm hugging you, silly"

"I tell you I don't like it when you hug me like that"

"Boohoo you're so cold as ever"

Drachen released him, Jaden was right to be uncomfortable with that hug, Drachen usually hugged him from his back because of the difference in their heights but that makes them look like a couple. Drachen was still laughing at his childhood friend's word, he didn't understand why since he smelled something in Jaden's body he avoids any contact with him; Drachen always thought it was the smell of Alice because the strawberry was always all over her body that was the main reason why he fell in love with Alice.

He was going to ask her to be his partner but seeing her with Alucard the archduke of Sunshine makes him feel so jealous and angry for having wasted all the time he had, he sights to calm down his anger because now, he was helping his friend.

"We have to talk about that, Do you remember?"

When Jaden understands what was his friend doing, the deader of the Blackrose pack announces the start of the first dance, Victor approaches Jaden but also Drachen asks him to dance with him, Jaden didn't understand the situation but gladly looks at Victor before answering.

"I'm sorry Victor but I can't be rude to the crown prince, Can I?"

Jaden accept Drachen’s hand and followed him to the middle of the frozen lake, the the band plays a beautiful song, all the couples started dancing around them but Jaden's eyes saw a handsome man dancing with his sister, he knows that man was Alucard so he avoids looking at them.

For some reason Jaden wants to dance with him, something feels strange in his chest, he thought that he could study well and went to the capital looking for a good job because Jaden never wanted anything in his life but now at the view of them so happy makes him sad, Jaden realized that the first time he wanted something, it was impossible.

They start dancing but Jaden was looking at the floor while Drachen was looking at him, for some reason he was very furious before but when he saw Jaden’s behavior he can't look away, although Drachen can't see his face very well because of the mask he could say that Jaden was sad.

Jaden twirled with the music and Drachen smelled the strawberry's scent on him, he smiles with happiness, when they were young Drachen saw that Alice and Jaden were the closest to each other and always play together so if the smell of Alice was in his body that means they were as close as ever, Drachen looks for Alice and also feel sad to see the woman he loves with another man; he sight and pay attention to Jaden.

"You look so sad Jay, What happened?

"Dreach... I think... I really should leave Snowlight Hill forever..."
