In the middle of the frosty lake, Alucard saw an unknown person with long curly white hair that fell beautifully on his back who was looking at the moon with that astonished green big eyes, the light of the moon covered their body, and the smell of strawberries made Alucard crazy as he walks towards that person. He knows it with one look, that whoever was in front of him was his soul mate, and even when at the start of the night he didn't want to find his mate now that was in front of his eyes Alucard couldn't avoid the fact that he was waiting for her to appear, Alucard wanted to kiss the other half of his life and hug that girl tightly.

Those pair of green eyes looked at Alucard with surprise, Alucard's wolf was calling his mate with the strong smell of coffee, he didn't waste any more time and came closer until Alucard's hands were able to touch the face of the other person. Alucard and his wolf knew that they had to protect his mate, his precious luna; a lot of people saw that moment with surprise and even more when he put his fangs in the neck of his mate and bit her skin inserting his fang, leaving a mark on his mate's neck.

He was so concerned for his mate that never saw that his mate was a man and not a girl until when he left his neck and saw the guy in his arms closely with the tears from the bite, Alucard turned his eyes to the clothes the other was wearing and froze, those trousers with the black boots, the white shirt, and the silver roses stamped in the white coat. Alucard knows everything about that person but when Alucard realized it, he pushed him down with a horrified face.

"How could this happen? Is my mate... a boy?"

That was the Alucard’s panic speaking to him, he never felt attracted to a man but the fact that his mate was a boy was a humiliation to his reputation. The boy on the cold floor was looking at the frozen lake under his finger with a quiet expression, he was pressing his left hand in that bite trying to stop the bleeding until the wound close a little, Jaden was the name of Alucard's soul mate but he wasn't an omega.

"Not you..." Jaden whispered to himself looking at Alucard.

"You..."

Moonlight pack

"Hey you omega, the young master Archer told me that you can leave first, lady Alice is having a panic attack" a maiden was sent to the separate building to deliver that message. Jaden lives there, even though he was the son of Elein he was excluded from the family.

"...yes, I was about to leave" He sights with that quiet face. When he was at the entrance of the Winterlane house he heard his mother's voice.

"Are you leaving first? What an ungrateful child" 

"We both know that I'm not part of the family, you never loved me mom so don't act like I was important to you now"

With that short talk, Jaden took the carriage which was waiting for him, that was the last time he hoped his family could show some affection for him, he thought that being an important an event like that they could arrive together but he was excluded again.

At that moment he surrenders after that day he wasn't going to look after their love anymore.

Jaden Winterlane was a beautiful boy with long and curly white hair, big green eyes, medium tall with two remarkable moles on his face one in his left corner eye and the other above his lips, he was wearing the white suit that his father prepared for him before he dies. Jaden was a very slim guy and the only “omega” in a long generation of alphas in his home, he was the shame of the Moonlight pack. Jaden was the last son of the deceased leader Asher Winterlane and the luna Elein Glumskin.

During the long trip in that carriage, Jaden was thinking about his soulmate, he grew up hearing his mother hurrying him to find his mate and leave the Moonlight pack as soon as possible, he was already planning to leave the pack because since his father's death that house wasn't his home anymore but he didn't want to depend on his mate to live.

When he arrived at the Blackrose house, Jaden greets the host of the event and hides in the shadows of the wood waiting for all of that to finish without even imagining that he will find a lot of trouble that night...

"Alucard, we are going to be late!"

Layla, Alucard's little sister shouted at the end of the stairs, she was waiting in a beautiful pale green dress with some details in white, her long black hair was beautifully hairstyle by her maid in waiting, it was in a medium ponytail tied with a green dark ribbon, her big and amazing red eyes with her well-curled eyelashes, made them look bigger than they are. She was excited and angry at her brother's behavior.

"I don't care, Layla, I'm not going"

"You should better get your body out of the bed or I'm going to kick your as*!"

Alucard didn't reply to her sister but the noise of someone knocking on the door distracted him from the view of the window, his room was open but his mother was asking permission to enter, she always respects the privacy of her children.

He looked at his mother waiting at the door in her bluish-green light dress with that pretty face and soft smile, he let her in, and when she sat down next to him Alucard knows what she wanted to say, so Alucard speak first.

"I know I have to go"

"Alice is going to be there"

She hugs his son talking in that quietly and warm tone, his mother knows the best how Alucard suffers from being alone all those years without his mate, Alucard maturated so fast that at the age of ten he receives the alpha's mark so since then he was looking for his beloved mate but after ten years he never found her so he lost interest.

"Is she pretty?" the alpha joke to his mother.

"Very pretty" she continued that joke trying to make her son feel better.

"Well, I have to know my fiancé" He smiles shortly after he sight.
