The Festival of Destiny turned out to be an absolute success.

Unlike the opening day, I was helping out in the control tower.

I sat next to Gabrielle watching the on-site cameras, so I had to keep an eye out for strange movements and report them, and the guards had to go and take a look.

It was a very trusting job, and I won't deny that I was surprised.

Bella looked like a weather vane as she whirled back and forth through the festival, while Ralf checked the crews, and Marco and Izan were the eyes on the outskirts. They had foiled an attempt at a practical joke at the festival, so they had taken the whole thing very seriously.

I smiled every time I saw them.

What I didn't expect was for Jhosep to show up on the final night.

He took several healers to celebrate and came up to the control tower to say hello and leave us food. Everyone was immediately attentive to him to an odd point, so I frowned at that.
