LOGINThe dim lighting in the room reflected the mood of the young man sitting gloomily in it. His poker face made it impossible to read his mind, seeing that he has been sitting there for hours.
"Young master you can not possibly undo it, but you could simply forget about her" His aide said in a meek and shaky tone unsure of his young master's present mood. The temperature of the room immediately dropped and you could see goosebumps on the fore arm of Secretary Marcus, his forehead beaded with sweat and his muscles tightened. He became tongue tied and dared not make a sound. "We must find her" He blurted with so much resolve in his eyes. Yes young master, I'll get it done immediately" Mr Marcus confirmed. Nevermind you mustn't alert my relatives, I will get someone from the other side to get it done. Return to the office and make sure everything proceeds as planned" He dismissed with a wave of his hand. " Yes Sir" Mr Marcus responded with hidden smile on his face as he immediately left the home office to proceed with the task he was given, grateful that he had kept his head. Just as Mr Marcus shut the door Aiden could not help but recount last night events in his head, reliving the pleasant activities that had kept him on his toes all day. Her sexy eyes, flat nose, pointy lips not to talk of her soft and silky skin. The warmth of her skin down to the tenderness of her bosom, her petite body that was so delicate and fragile. He had held her like she was the most priceless jewel in the entire world. She was simply an angel. As the most eligible bachelor in country i have seen my own share of exceptionally beautiful, talented and charming ladies many of which have attempted to work their charm on me but they have never commanded my attention before. I lost my sense of reasoning by just a little touch from a strange woman that I had just met. I must do something about it!!! The first order of business was to find her. " Get a hold of yourself" I immediately bellowed in a loud voice just before I felt something hard below. I looked down only to find a bulge in my pants for the umpteenth time. For how long must I put up with this? "damn it" I growled in a pissed and frustrated tone I hurriedly grabbed my phone and dialed my doctor with a frustrated and embarrassed look on my face. Just as I heard his voice I muttered a command Get here right now" before hanging up immediately. I looked down to notice less swelling so I heaved a sigh of relief and proceeded to attend a meeting with the department heads while waiting for Doctor Ivan to arrive. Chloe's Bedroom A brooding Arianna is seen in a bedroom that seemed so feminine, flashy colours and all. Her poker face made it hard to reveal her emotions. She had been sitting on the same spot for minutes without moving an inch, desperately trying to decipher the occurrences of the previous night. "The nerve of that evil creature my father married. She has always been devious but I never imagined she could stoop lower. All for an inheritance that is not hers to acquire, she attempted to end my life. It is important that I teach her a lesson before she murders my father and becomes the biggest shareholders in the company" She muttered in gibberish. Minutes later the bedroom door creaked open and a young lady around the same age as Arianna skipped in. She had distinct features like Arianna, pretty blue eye, a round face, cherry lips, slender waist and straight long legs plus she carried herself like a model. "Ari come downstairs please, my mum made an exquisite dinner" she cooed. " I will, I just need a minute" Arianna responded with a serious tone. It was obvious she was still deep in thought. Stop thinking about your stepmother!!!!!! Chloe jolted her. And most importantly stop playing these silly games with her, she's dangerous, I mean she almost destroyed you" Chloe grunted Impossible!!!! I will be left with no family and no inheritance, she is dangerous enough to end my life. She must clearly be stopped" Arianna banged the table to drive her point in. Chloe immediately teared up "Ari I am sorry, I didn't mean it that way. It's just that I don't want you to get hurt. She is obviously dangerous and won't rest till she achieved her malicious aims." I mean you already got hurt, you spent a night with a man you barely know" She continued with tears dripping down her lovely and plump face. "Chloe I warned you not to mention it" Arianna quickly placed her hand on Chloe's mouth In a bid to restrict her from saying more than she already had. With teary eyes she muttered "You are my best friend and sister, I cannot bear to lose you". Alright, alright you convinced me, I give up. Can we have our dinner right now?" She stood up hastily forgetting the crucial pain she felt below, she frowned but immediately hid her pain without alerting Chloe. "What a beast! I am in so much pain" Arianna muttered to herself. Just after relishing the sumptuous meal with Chloe and her lovely mother, I quickly expressed my gratitude and headed home to my dramatic family. My survival instinct had kicked right after the events of last night so all i had in my head were counter measures to evade the witch's plot. "arggggghhhhh" I screamed with frustration in my voice. Plotting was mentally draining and mind frustrating. Upon arriving home a fleet of cars lined up and I could only wonder what surprise awaited me. Walking lazily to the living room eyes descended on me the moment I entered the room. "Seems like a party was happening without me. How typical" She smirked. My stepmother immediately arrived my side, wrapper hand around my shoulder and cooed "my my, my lovely daughter is back home Blood left my face in a heartbeat! The witch is plotting again!!!!!!AidenI had negotiated billion-dollar mergers with less stress than planning a wedding. That realization alone should have concerned me.Instead, I stood in front of the mirror inside my dressing room while Martin adjusted his cufflinks with the seriousness of someone preparing for war.“You look nervous,” he said flatly.“I’m not nervous.”“You’ve checked your watch eleven times in six minutes.”“That’s observation. Not nerves.”Martin looked unimpressed.Behind him, Q lounged carelessly on the couch scrolling through his phone.“Honestly,” he said lazily, “this is beautiful for me personally.”I ignored him.Q continued anyway.“The great Aiden Smith. Feared businessman. Destroyer of criminal organizations. Emotional over a woman in white fabric.”Martin almost smiled.I narrowed my eyes.“You both can leave.”“No,” Q replied immediately. “I suffered through your personality for years. I deserve to witness this.”I adjusted the sleeve of my suit calmly before looking at my reflectio
AriannaOne Week Before GraduationSometimes I still woke up expecting chaos. It happened less now, but every once in a while, my eyes would open in the middle of the night and for a few seconds I would expect screaming phones, encrypted alerts, another emergency meeting, another attack.Instead, I would find warm arms around my waist.Aiden.Sleeping beside me like the world had finally stopped demanding pieces of us.It always took me a moment to adjust to the silence. Not because silence was unfamiliar anymore.Because peace still felt unreal. The morning sunlight slipped through the curtains slowly, warming the room in soft gold. I blinked awake carefully before turning slightly.Aiden was still asleep.Which was rare.Very rare. For someone who practically operated like a machine, sleep always seemed optional to him. Yet over the past few months, he had started resting more. Not fully. Not normally. But enough for me to notice. His arm tightened slightly around me the moment I sh
AidenFor the first time in years, the screens in front of me were quiet. No emergency alerts. No red warnings flashing across encrypted systems. No incoming reports about missing shipments, financial breaches, assassinations, or attacks waiting to happen.Just silence.I leaned back slightly in my chair, staring at the collection of reports spread across the monitors in my office.Frozen accounts.Seized assets.Arrests across three countries.Destroyed trafficking routes.Confiscated weapons.Companies under federal investigation.Politicians resigning before evidence could publicly bury them. The organization that had spent years hiding beneath governments and corporations was collapsing piece by piece. Not completely gone.Men like that never disappeared entirely. But broken enough that they would never regain the power they once held. And for the first time in a long time, I allowed myself to think the words clearly. The war was over. The realization should have felt victorious.
AriannaI did not sleep well after reading the file. Not because I was afraid.Because I was angry.Real anger. The kind that sat quietly in your chest and refused to cool no matter how calm you tried to appear. For months, I had bled for this organization without even fully understanding what I had inherited. I had adapted to systems older than me, accepted responsibilities I never asked for, and trusted people whose faces I still barely knew. And now they were questioning me.Not openly. Not honestly.Cowards never attacked directly first. They whispered. They observed. They tested how much pressure they could apply before cracks started forming.I stared at the ceiling above our bed while Aiden slept beside me.The room was still dark.My phone rested against my chest, the encrypted file still open on the screen.Emotionally compromised.Overly influenced by Aiden Smith.Leadership acceleration without complete vetting.I reread the lines slowly. Then again. The wording irritated m
Arianna For a few seconds after I touched the ring box, neither of us moved. The house was quiet around us, the kind of quiet that only came after weeks of chaos. No calls. No alarms. No updates flashing across screens. Just the soft light from the living room lamps and Aiden watching me like the next few seconds mattered more than anything else in the world.I looked down at the ring again. Then back at him.“You really planned this?” I asked softly.Aiden leaned back slightly against the couch, his eyes still on me.“Yes.”“For how long?”“A while.”“That’s not an answer.”“It’s the only one you’re getting right now.”That made me laugh quietly despite myself.Trust Aiden to propose and still act annoyingly controlled afterward. My fingers brushed lightly over the edge of the ring box.I had imagined a lot of things these past months.Survival.Escape.Revenge.Power.But never this.Never sitting in our living room with the man who once felt like a dangerous stranger, now looking
AriannaThe house felt different when I walked in that evening. Not because anything had changed physically. But because something had finally stopped chasing us for a moment.Aiden was already inside when I returned from the Merge facility. He let me go by myself today. Which surprises me.He was standing by the window, phone in hand, speaking in low tones. Not rushed. Not tense.Just controlled.I paused near the entrance, watching him for a second before he noticed me.When he did, he ended the call immediately.“Come in,” he said simply.I stepped further inside.“You were expecting me late?”“No,” he replied. “I was expecting updates.”That made me exhale lightly.“Good updates or bad ones?”Aiden looked at me for a moment. Then—“Neutral turning good.”That alone made something in my chest loosen slightly. Not fully. But enough to notice.I removed my shoes slowly, like my body was finally catching up to the fact that I didn’t have to rush anymore.“I’m guessing the world didn’t
Aiden’s POV All night I turned and turned, unable to sleep, wondering how Arianna was feeling, if she had slept at all. The distance between us felt unbearable. Being away from her for too long drove me restless, my mind replaying her face over and over again until dawn threatened the horizon. Th
Mrs Young could only sit down grimly on her gold cushion, her stiff posture betraying the storm raging within her. The crowd was thrown into yet another round of shock, and at this point, it was becoming almost impossible to keep up with the rapidly unfolding chaos. What was meant to be a glamorous birthday celebration had spiraled into something far more scandalous, far more unforgettable. Keeping their mouths
