Daniel was already waiting for us outside the hostel. There were many cars packed in front of the hostel so it was kind of difficult to locate where he was. It was yet another new week. Cool breeze brushed through my face as I walked back to my hostel after I finished jugging round the big five hostel that faced each other . The biggest of them all was the one I stayed at called queen Esther girls which was stood out and was at the center of them all.They were only seperated by the tall fences and large gates.It was said that in the past there was something mystical about this particular hostel. After I unknowingly dozed off once or twice in the reading room, I quietly picked up my books and headed back to the room. My eyes would probably be blood shot now as I was feeling very sleepy. The weather was extremely cold now and i imagine how I would fall on my bed and sleep peacefully with my big duvet all over me as iget to the room.As I walked through the Walk way that led to the stairs, I heard a noise from the far end of the compound near the fence. I sat down quietly waiting to be given the answer script and question paper. The hall was not stuffy, jam-packed or hot as usual because people in our department were divided into about three groups to take the exam in different venues. "If you have any thing or any material that will implicate you kindly take it away. And again there's no room for exam malpractice, anyone who is caught would would be punished severely" one of the invigilators said shouting on top of her voice."And do you know what the punishment would be? Tomorrow being Friday was the last day of the exam. I glanced at my wrist watch, the time had really gone quickly as it was already six o'clock in the evening. I stood at the side of the road looking stranded and tired. I had actually gone to the market that was outside school hostel earlier to get some things I wanted to use to prepare soup. After buying everything I needed and was about to go home it had started raining heavily. I watched my the rain pour down non stop for nearly two hours before it turned into drizzle, with only small drops of water. I was was actually taking cover under a small stall made with zink and wood, but when the the rain was no longer heavy, I came out to see if I would get any bus that was going to the school hostel.
