Nathaniel's Obsession

Nathaniel was silent for a while before she said his name.

“I just want to make sure you’re fine with everything going on,” Nathaniel said causing Isobel to shake her head at him.

“How long?” Rosalyn asked. She was glad that he didn’t lie to her.

“Well today,” Nathaniel said looking at her. He was studying her.

Rosalyn pinched the bridge of her nose before she opened her mouth to speak.

“Let me guess. You thought I was going to open my mouth and tell on your brother? What if I did Nathaniel would you have hurt me?” Rosalyn asked angrily.

“Answer me,” she shouted when he went back to take a seat.

“Your tone. Don’t use that tone with me,” Nathaniel said calmly.

“Answer me,” Rosalyn said more calmly walking closer to him.

“I can’t stand hurting you, Rosalyn but I would have had to teach you a lesson. It’s best you forget what you heard,” Nathaniel said truthfully to her.

“You’re just a monster like your brother,” Rosalyn spat him causing his face to darken

    Nathaniel’s Obsession “I am trying my best Angelo. Do you think I enjoy being away from you?” Isobel asked him as they waited in the patient room. She has an appointment today with her OB/Gyn and she told him about it. “Yes,” Angelo said as he helped her onto the bed. “You allow your brothers dictate your life. She had been on her way to the locker room when she heard Joseph’s raised voice at Alyssa. She had been asking him if she could stay at the apartment until she found a place. She splashed cold water on her face. She was exhausted. Nathaniel had not called her all day and she didn’t see him in the morning either. It was obvious now that he was keeping his distance. Her heart ached at this, but she would not buckle. In fact, she was done. They were always arguing in their relationship so what was the point anyways? She already decided this morning she was not going back to the mansion. She was closing that chapter of her life.It only became apparent to herself how much of a selfish person Nathaniel actually was. He was controlling, but she never really experienced this side of him.
