8: Body Desires

Alicia dozed off on the couch with the contract clutched tightly in her fingers like a lifeline. And to some extent, it was because that document carried her future and her child's. Theodore had stayed awake for while waiting to hear her get to her room. It was past 1 am when he decided to go downstairs and check. He tiptoed slowly like he was doing something illegal and didn't want to risk getting caught. When he got to the living room, Alicia had her leaned back on the sofa, face facing up. Her mouth was slightly parted as she emitted soft snores. Theo took the moment to look at her. Like, really stare at her. His fingers itched to trace her soft-looking flawless skin. He stretched his hand but retracted it at the last minute fearing that she might wake and catch him in the creepy situation.

He cleared his throat awkwardly hoping she will jolt awake to no success. He resulted to stomping heavily on the tiled-carpeted floor, but nothing. Left with no other choice, Theo leaned in and tapped her shoulder softly. At the fourth tap, Alicia groaned, swallowing before she opened her sleepy eyes. She squinted trying to adjust to the light when her eyes fell on Theo, who was towering over her. She jerked sitting upright and almost bumped her head to his chin.

“Sorry,” she murmured as Theo took a step back hastily with a curse under his breath.

“You fell asleep on the couch,” he gestured at nothing in particular trying to avert his gaze but for some reason, he couldn't look away from her. Not when those warm, inquisitive eyes were locked on his face. All of a sudden, he felt conscious and his fear of women kicked in. So, he did what he does the best under such circumstances. He hardened his face and stared at Alicia like a parasite he couldn't wait to get rid of.

“Go to bed,” he barked, turning on his heels and headed to the kitchen. Not that he had anything to do in the kitchen. It was the easiest route out. That didn't stop him from opening the fridge and rummaging for lord knows what until he heard her strides up the stairs. He closed the fridge and leaned on it, letting out a heavy breath he had no idea he had been holding.

“Fuck this!” He muttered, fisting his palm ready to punch something, but violence wasn't in his blood. He ended up unclenching his fist breathlessly before storming out of the kitchen. He began climbing the stairs slowly so that he doesn't bump into her under any circumstance. She was unraveling him and drawing these alien feelings from him. Never had he felt so helpless before. Not even in the boardroom with all the ruthless business moguls. All Theo knew was that he had to stay away from Alicia for his own good. Now he understood a little bit why his father never argues so much with his mother. She must render him useless. Theo thought grimly. He certainly didn't want to get to that point.

He passed outside her room, and the lights had already been switched off. He lingered there for a minute or two, not knowing what he was waiting for, before proceeding to his master bedroom. After locking the door behind him, he immediately went for his whiskey bottle, took two neat shots, and climbed into bed. But sleep didn't come east for the son of Cavill. He tossed and yawned and turned and cursed and finally got up and decided to watch a movie. He switched on the large flat screen mounted on his bedroom wall and began flipping through the many channels he has subscribed to. However, Alicia had ruined that for him seemingly. No matter what he did, he couldn't seem to concentrate on anything without thinking of her.

He rose and fetched the whiskey bottle. He gulped four neat shots at a go, but that didn't help either. At first, he was oblivious to the obscenely large tent on his bulge, but he could only ignore it for so long. He groaned, dipping his hand in the shorts and tried to adjust his hard painful cock which was threatening to tear the poor shorts.

He could hear his brother in his head telling him to stop being a nerd and go take what it is that he wants. And for the second time in his life, he listened to his brother's lewd proposal, even if it was just in his head, and marched towards Alicia's bedroom. The first time was when he agreed to attend a party with hookers. His birthday party to be exact.

He stood for more than five minutes outside her door wondering how to proceed. He was still an amateur in the field, and he has never regretted it more. He knocked tentatively and immediately got cold feet. He turned abruptly to leave. He had barely taken two steps when the door opened behind him. He wanted so badly to turn, but he didn't know what to do or say after turning. The initial courage he had storming from his room to knocking on her door deserted him, and he was left a stuttering mess.

“So… so… sorry to have disturbed you.” He managed to croak breathlessly. “Go back to sleep.” He continued walking away.

“Wait,” Alicia called almost immediately. Theo turned wide-eyed and held her gaze. She, too, became shy at the last minute, but neither could deny the obvious need which was displayed on their faces for the other to see.

“Did you read the contract?” Theo began stalling. Alicia nodded, joining him in the circus.

“The last clause,” he scratched his head unable to meet her gaze. Alicia's cheeks reddened instantly too at the mention of that clause. “It says that…”

“Yes!” Alicia almost screamed, cutting him off. She wanted the man just as he wanted her, and the merry-go-round dance was exhausting.

“Yes?” Theo asked with uncertainty. Did she understand what he was asking for? He wondered. He didn't have to wonder for long.

“Yes, I want you to fuck me too.” Alicia shrugged bluntly opening her door wider and beckoned for him with a finger astonished by her sudden surge of courage.
