Chapter 2: The Teasing

Gracelyn's Pov

" Get off of me you b*tch!", Greg sassed.

I immediately get up and went out feeling embarrassed and shocked.

What the h*ll was that? That's my first kiss!

"We saw that", Izzy and Shirly teased. I didn't know they followed me here. I rolled my eyes at them.

Thankfully the shaking stopped and we got out of the building just fine. No major damages occurred.

"What you saw was nothing!", I said but their teasing didn't stopped.

"You look tense", Shirly commented.

"It is because of Greg", Izzy whispered.

"Guys, please. Stop with the teasing ", I pleaded but they just grinned at me.

"Then why can't you look at us in the eye?",Shirly smiles widely.

"Don't smile like that it makes you more ugly", I tried to change the topic.

" Dont change the topic. I know that I'm beautiful inside out", says Shirly and wink.

I can't win over this two at all.

Especially, they joined forces.

"Hi guys ! ", Melo greeted. "are you all okay?", he asked concerned while checking on us.

"We're fine Melo. Don't be overly dramatic", Izzy snapped at him.

Melo jokingly elbowed Izzy.

Thanks to him the teasing of this two stopped..

or so I think.

"Our friend here is in love ",Inform Izzy.

She just can't zip her mouth,does she? I frowned at her.

"Really? to whom?", Melo asks with a hint of disappointment? But why would he be disappointed if ever it is true that I am in love?. "Greg", Shirly replied.

"Greg Luis?", asks Melo.

Shock is evident on his eyes.

"yes! Absolutely yes! 100% yes", Said Izzy.

"Well, he is handsome and all but be careful he is a big cheater ",warns Melo.

" I am not inlove with him ", I said for the nth time already.

"But you have a crush on him",Izzy is adamant.

I release a deep breathe I didn't know I was holding.

" I don't know if what I felt like a while ago is crush?",

" what did you feel?", These two is eager to know.

" I felt my heart pounding against my chest . I felt the tingles when our lips met", I explained and brushed my lips with my fingers.

"You kissed? That soon ? You didn't even know him yet!", Melo scolded.

"It's an accident", I defended myself.

Melo angrily walked out on us. I looked at Shirly and Izzy but they just shrugged their shoulders.

Melo's Pov

What the heck! Of all the handsome and good fellas out there why Greg? He is basically the most j*rked I've ever known ! I've known him since highschool and he is definitely the definition of a cheater.

This doesn't feel right.

I fall in love with Gracelyn the first time I saw her. Her choco brown eyes expresses many emotions. He looks cute when she glared at Greg's back. She is the definition of innocent and kind but a fierce and strong woman.

When I saw Greg scowl at her and kicked her envelope away, I feel the urge to punch him right there and then but I don't want to make a scene on the first day of classes inside the school premises.

I went to a nearby bar and drink. I want to clear my mind. I started with one shot then followed by one and another one until I lost count on how many shots I drank.

I feel dizzy and my eyes are getting blurry. I was about to go to the toilet when I spotted Greg drinking with his minions. My feet leads me towards them.

Before I realized it, it's already too late to back out. He already saw me and I lose control of my footing and stumble on their table.

"What's this all about? What do you want?", he snapped.

"Let's talk man to man", I started.

" I want you to stay away from Gracelyn! Don't you ever bully her again and dont you ever.think that the kiss has something!", I threatened.

Greg stand up grabbed me by the collar.

" Dont you dare threaten me again", he warned.

I didnt waver.

I meet his glares.

"Then let us have a duel.

If you loose you'll leave Gracelyn alone and promised never to touch her", I offered.

"But if I win you'll also leave Gracelyn to me", he offered back.

I am not sure if I can win the duel but I must try for Gracelyn . I don't want her to be bullied by Greg.

Greg's Pov

Melo sure is drank. He ain't that kind to offer a duel and just for what ? For a nerd girl?. I smirked.

She sure is pretty but she looked d*mb.

"Who is Gracelyn bro?", asked Fin. My bestfriend and cousin as well.

Curiosity in all over his face.

"Our classmate", Roger replied in a teasing tone.

"Just a girl in our class", I confirm and ignore Roger's teasing.

"Just a girl? Really? I think she's so special for Melo", Fin said.

"Melo said you kissed ?"Kevin chimed.

"It was an accident", I exhaled.

"Whether it was an accident or intentional it's the fact that you kissed. You can't say that you feel nothing?", Fin chuckled.

"Kissing girls are already normal to Greg that he can't feel the tingles anymore", Roger stated laughing maniacally.

I smirked at him.

"Why don't you take advantage of it bro ?", kevin grinned.

"I already have Lexa.", I reminded them.

Lexa is my longterm girlfriend but as of the moment we are in an off relationship. She got jealous with one of my girl drinking buddy and broke up with me. But I'm sure She'll come back to me again. It's always been our relationship's routine for years. We broke up then get back together. Nothing new.

"Well, we didn't say that you'll forget about Lexa. We just said that you should try it. You didn't get back yet together so it's not cheating." Fin emphasized.

I shook my head.

"Then why did you agree with the duel then in the first place?", Roger asked.

"I just want to irritate Melo that's all", I said and sip my beer.

"I didn't know that Lexa got you under her feet", Kevin snicker.

"Tell that again and I'll punch you hard. I am not under anyone's feet!", I scowl at him.

"Then let's have a deal. Win that duel and make that chicks fall inlove with you", Kevin challenged.

I ground my teeth out of anger.

Kevin smiled at me mockingly.

I grabbed his hand to seal the deal.
