Chapter 26 Despise

(Dahlia POV)

I would have taken the dust collector off the table when my attention is drawn outward where there are few cars coming again. What is this again? I closed my eyes to ignore what was in my mind. Don't be a pessimist, Dahlia, for they are wealthy customers, maybe?

I haven't been able to rest for a bit, here they are again. The scoundrels. My mind didn't get it wrong. Tss.

They entered one by one. There were strained smiles on their lips. A kind of smile that feels ashamed of how they look.  Somebody beats them for good.  I think they had already got what they were looking for.

I approached one of them because no one dared to say something. Suddenly I was a little dazzled by the rays of the golden setting sun. Two more men entered; a man looking at me was making the umbrella that was familiar to me.
