Chapter Fifty

''Take your time.'' Andrea said.

She didn't seem to hear him as her whole mind and thoughts were focused on the jet black phone sitting on the table.

''Thanks.'' she said, quietly.

She barely heard him walk out of the room, her whole mind still focused on the phone. Elena couldn't believe that she was going to do this, she was finally going to talk to her father after all these weeks and her only hope was that he wasn't mad at her. She knew how hypertensive her father was and she really hoped that the worse hadn't happened already.

Taking a deep breath, she took the phone, dialing her father's number as she waited for it to connect. It rang till the very end as as she heard the last beep, her fears soared all over again.

''What's going on?'' she murmured.
