LAUREN'S POV

“Did you hear what she said!” I said to Roman, my voice a little sharper than I intended. The words slipped out before I could hold them back, because honestly, I couldn’t believe what I’d just heard.

Roman gently dropped his utensils, the soft clink echoing across the dining room. He straightened a little, shifted his shoulders, and turned his attention fully toward Liz like he suddenly needed to examine her expression from a closer angle.

“And why would you want us to accommodate you?” Roman asked, his tone calm but firm. “I thought you were staying in the best hotel you could find, and that still wasn’t enough?” He kept his gaze on her, waiting for an explanation.

“Please tell us,” I added, leaning forward slightly, wanting her to open up.

Lauren’s acting immature here. She didnt ask for Roman’s opinion and decided to let her stay on a whim. And based on their 1st meeting, she already knows what kind of person she is. Most imptly she has a child. You wont let anyone not even for a simple dinner at your house. Her actions doesnt add up
