NORA'S POV

The vision came to me in the early hours of morning, when the moon still clung to the sky and the world felt suspended between dreams and waking. I had collapsed after another difficult training session, the orb cradled beside me like a sleeping child. But as I drifted into sleep, the air grew cold, and a different kind of presence enveloped me.

I opened my eyes, but not to the training fields or my chamber.

Instead, I stood at the edge of a vast marble courtyard, surrounded by towering pillars that gleamed beneath twin suns. The architecture was otherworldly— elegant, ancient, sacred. Covered figures circled a massive pedestal at the center, where the orb hovered, radiant and whole, its glow reaching into the heavens.

The keepers.

They moved in silence, yet I could feel the weight of their purpose. I watched as one stepped forward, placing a hand above the orb. “The balance must be maintained,” he said, his voice echoing in my chest rather than my ears. “The orb binds ligh

Third povIn the quiet chambers beneath the Temple of the Ancients, Erebus stood with three of his most trusted followers. The walls were thick with secrecy, and only flickering torchlight illuminated their dark gathering.“It begins tonight,” Erebus murmured, spreading a yellowed scroll across the wide table. “The orb pulses with uncertainty. We’ll twist that doubt into chaos.”His voice echoed like a hiss of smoke.Around him, his followers leaned in. Thalos, a master of illusions; Mirea, the keeper of forgotten poisons; and Vael, a former oracle who had sworn allegiance to Erebus in exchange for forbidden knowledge.“We’ve planted whispers among the lower keepers,” Vael reported. “They’re beginning to question Nora’s leadership. They say the orb chooses only the worthy, and perhaps she no longer is.”Mirea gave a slow smile. “I’ve infused the meditation incense in the common hall with a mild disorientation powder. It will sow just enough confusion. Not harm, just... imbalance.”“Go

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    But Because I Would Fight

Nora’s POV I no longer trusted the stillness in the keepers’ hall. There was something about the way their eyes followed me lately—too guarded, too careful. The smiles were tight, fleeting. Conversations ended too quickly the moment I stepped into a room. I wasn’t imagining it.The Ancient keepers had always been a mystery to me, but now their secrecy felt suffocating. And dangerous.Even with August constantly at my side, offering quiet counsel and reminding me that not all secrets meant betrayal, I couldn't shake the gnawing doubt.“These were once your allies,” August said gently one evening as we stood near the great window overlooking the temple gardens. “You must remember that.”I shook my head, the orb pulsing faintly beneath my palm. “They were allies of the orb’s keeper. That doesn’t mean they’re loyal to me. Erebus was one of them. How many more might be hiding the same hunger for power?”August didn’t answer. He probably didn't think that he needed to give an answer. Late

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    She Was The Keeper

NORA’S POVOne moment I stood in the Eagle pack’s quiet courtyard, catching my breath after a sparring session with August. The next, my sight blurred and twisted. I collapsed to my knees, clutching the orb that pulsed violently in my palm.Darkness swept in like a storm.I stood at the edge of a battlefield—charred earth beneath my feet, thick smoke curling into a sky cracked with thunder. Bodies littered the ground. Wolves. Lycans. Humans. Their eyes stared blankly at the heavens. In the center, rising from a mountain of ash, stood Griffin. A crown of burning gold hovered above his head, and in his hand… the orb.Only it wasn’t glowing with the soft, sacred light I had come to know.It was bleeding.I stumbled back in the vision, trying to scream, but no sound came. Griffin turned, his eyes dark with victory, and mouthed a single word: "Mine.”The vision shattered.I gasped awake, drenched in sweat, my heart pounding like war drums. August was already beside me, steadying me with a

Third povIn the depths of the forest, beyond the sacred border stones of Nora’s territory, Erebus gathered with his followers. The flames of their hidden campfire crackled, casting twisted shadows on their clothes and faces. Each of them bore the mark of Griffin—an ancient rune burned onto their wrists in blood and secrecy.Erebus’ eyes gleamed with satisfaction. “She’s grown strong,” he murmured, “but the stronger she becomes, the more vulnerable she is. The orb is waking, and she’s too naïve to control it.”One of his followers, a hooded woman named Lyara, stepped forward. “Griffin’s blood still flows with power. The plan must not fail.”“It won’t,” Erebus assured her. “We have what we need. The orb’s balance is delicate. One nudge, one corrupted thread in its flow and she will crumble.”Their mission was simple. Sabotage. Twist the orb’s energy. Disrupt Nora’s control. Make her doubt herself, until she lost grip entirely. Then Griffin would strike.Nora stood in the clearing, swea

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    The New Challenge

NORA'S POV The air was filled with heat as August’s blade clashed against mine, the sound echoing through the ancient training grounds like a warning bell. My muscles screamed in protest, but I pushed harder, focusing every ounce of energy into the movement. Sweat dripped down my back, but I welcomed the burn. I needed this.August stepped back, lowering his sword. “You’re improving faster than I expected.”I straightened, panting. “Good. Because I still feel like I’m dancing on the edge of chaos.”He chuckled lowly, wiping his brow. “You are. The orb’s power isn’t something you ever fully control. You learn to walk with it or drown.”I nodded, but I didn’t smile. Something had been gnawing at the edge of my mind for days. A whisper in the dark. A shadow I couldn’t place. That night, the visions came again.I jolted upright in bed, drenched in sweat. My heart pounded as the images flashed behind my eyes—charred ground, screaming voices, a river of blood splitting through a forest I d
