Dawson walks away from his confrontation with Keira’s old friends fuming. But his anger quickly turns to guilt. He is to blame, and he needs to get himself under control. Keira pulls Dawson closer to her and Dawson knows he’s won. He plants kisses up her neck to her chin. Then he cups her face and crashes his lips onto hers. Keira returns the kiss, but she’s hungry for more. Dawson slides his hand up her leg, under her dress. He works his way up until he has a hand full of her ass. He grabs and then lifts her up. Keira checks under the sink and finds her phone. She remembers calling Mason, he must have been so worried about her. But the person calling her now is her dad. She answers it quickly.“Hey Dad.” She says.“Hey Kare Bear. How are you? We haven’t heard from you in awhile.” Her dad says.“Yeah, I’m sorry. I’ve been really busy. Things here are great. Keira’s POVToday is the day my father visits. I’m really excited for it, I haven’t seen anyone from my old pack in such a long time. Keira’s POVOver the next few weeks things went back to normal around the pack house, and between me and Dawson. He stopped drinking like he said, and things have been like they were in the beginning, blissful. Two days ago he was sent out on a mission to help an allied pack. He is returning today after successfully fighting back some rogues. I’m happy he had a successful mission without getting hurt. He and the other warriors are planning to arrive back around dinner time, so the pack is planning a big feast. The Luna and I worked together to plan the feast. This is the first event I’ve had a hand in planning, and I’m really excited for it. “Alright, I think that just about finishes that. Keira’s POVI remember the feeling of pain, then I must’ve passed out, I don’t remember anything after that. My head hurts. I open my eyes and a bright white light pours in. Where am I? I blink a few times before my vision clear up. I’m in a hospital bed and I’m alone. I remember running from Dawson after he knocked out Harrison. I remember Dawson catching me and attacking me. Keira’s POVTwo days have passed since I woke up in the hospital. Macie has been by my side this whole time. Harrison visited too. I heard Dawson was sent away on another mission. I wonder what plan the Alpha and Luna have, I mean they can’t keep Dawson away on missions forever. I’ve thought about what Macie suggested. But I can’t just abandon my pack. I need to come up with a solution, or maybe I just endure it for them. I’m not sure what the right thing to do is. The doctor said I’m going to be released today. Keira’s POVI take off running away from the lands of Pale Moon Pack. When I reach the mouth of a river I stop to take a break. It’s still dark outside, and I put another couple of miles in between me and our borders. I’m exhausted and starving. Macie packed me some snacks for the way. I unwrap a protein bar and take a huge bite out of it. Macie said her head omega passes these out when the omegas need a boost of energy in between meals. It has a soft and gritty texture, and it doesn’t taste very good. I check the wrapper. Chocolate chip peanut butter. It has a slight peanut taste but absolutely no chocolate chips at all.
