Olivia's Pov

I stand in front of Ethan’s townhouse like a creep and not a mother coming to see her son. I know I should knock but, we have so much bad blood between us recently.

I just stood there, replaying the words Ethan said that day. “She’s my mom… and I love her… but things would be easier if she was gone.” “If she didn’t have that affair.” She didn’t make everything complicated.”

I knew that even if we reconciled before and he forgave me, things would never be the same again, but I was hurt by his words.

Now here I was, the contact from Sweden in my bag, wanting to tell him that his words came true, maybe it would stop the bullying, the sadness and the tears.

I finally knock on his door with shaky hands, pulling myself to stop being a pussy and not chickening out.

I hear footsteps thumping, coming towards the door. It was yanked open, and there stood my baby boy, my sad broken boy.
