MIRIAM'S POVI have no idea why but seeing the man grabbing Eli threateningly and with a knife seemed to get me really angry. It was not the usual fear but a demand within that I rip his head off. MIRIAM'S POVWe had to leave that town with Jose and somehow, with him following us, I had a feeling of being protected. I had begun having these vivid dreams and visions that seemed to confuse me as they made me scared. It was all centered around the pain and destruction of the world but I always found myself awake the very moment I saw myself in a blur of lights. Jose would always explain it was one of the things a banshee experiences but even more was his warning that I needed to activate my werewolf properties as that was needed.Eli would hear nothing of it as all he could think of was how painful it was going to be. I actually found that I desired that he actually meets his waterloo at this point because he had clearly not been helping matters. JASON'S POVI had run away from home since the night I had set the fire to my home and it really had not been easy to pull the stunt I had. I had attacked Miriam and dealt with her heavily, finally believing that I had righted the wrong I had made many years ago. I should have killed her that night instead of allowing myself to fall in love with her. So much for that love I had for her as it had clearly gotten me nowhere.I ran upstairs to get my kids as I had not trusted a distraught Eli not to harm them when he realized that Miriam was dead.
