Sucking in a quick breath, Ciara fought back the anger that was tearing through her clenched teeth and a wave of tears fighting to break free from her eyes.

It was a lot of emotions bumbling in her head. Seeing him was as terrifying and ridiculously exciting as always. It kick-started her heart and stirred up tears.

But the fact that he was holding her, stopping her from hitting his 'girlfriend' was very upsetting. More upsetting than it should be.

She wiggled her hand, but he wouldn't let her go. His eyes were drowned in a terrifying ocean of panic. She wasn't sure why. Maybe he was that much of a protective boyfriend? Maybe he was the type that killed whoever laid a hand on his girlfriend? If so, would he be killing her soon?
