Joanna's POV

I felt a gentle touch and a swift tap on my shoulder just as I opened my eyes in time to check who it was but it happened that I found nobody around in the room, it was just me and the morning sun which was smiling brilliantly at me.

Chris wasn't in the room and the house was quiet there was no music playing in the background as usual or anything else to keep the house lively, even his maid had gone on a work break to see her family and pay a visit to her deceased mother.

I walked into the living room to check on Chris only to find him all dressed up and standing arms akimbo gazing into space, I wondered what he was thinking about but did not want to interrupt his thoughts.

But he glanced in my direction and his face lit up, " You're awake." He said and turned to face with a questioning look.

" Where are you leaving this early?" I asked him and walked past to grab a seat.

Chris looked amusingly at me and replied, " Have you forgotten what we had planned to do today?" I
