Chapter 37: THE ELDERS COUNCIL MEETING

Chris POV

I followed the elders through the portal to my realm. Seated in glamour were the twenty-four elders council each robed in their finest apparel with straight faces and lips ready to condemn.

Joanna and Axen were left at the threshold while I sat on the second high table, it's been ages since I sat among the elders of the council. It is a norm to gather like this when there's a serious matter in the Ginn's realm and other times are just for formalities.

There was a terrific silence while a golden clock the only source of sound kept ticking lazily on the wall. I glanced at the two ladies on the threshold, shot a look at the senior ranking elder of the council and then cleared my throat to disturb the silence.

"What is this impromptu meeting about?" I asked.

They all looked at each other in the "Why is he asking us that" kind of look. The senior ranking elder cleared his throat and started.

"We called this urgent meeting because the law we made and agreed on has been broken." He
