‘They were beautiful.’ Sara thought staring at the three women. Of course, these were the kinds of women he was attracted to. All three of them were blondes, she noted and sighed. She could never compare to that because she was only a plain jane.

‘I don’t want to either.’ She reminded herself. Adrain and this marriage was the last thing she wanted. Because of him, she had been struggling to focus for the last few days and now he had decided to throw a party knowing it would affect. He didn’t care about her either so she shouldn’t expect anything better from him.

Right now, all she wanted was something to eat and then perhaps after that she could concentrate on her book because it seemed the party was over. She glanced at the three women again and heaved a sigh of relief. If they kept him occupied then he’d stay far away from her. She couldn’t wait for the 30 days to be up so she could walk away from him and his family without a second thought.
