ログインMarina’s POV
Lucian’s whole body went taut, his fists clenching, his breath heavy. I could feel the storm building inside him, his instinct to shield me fighting against something darker I glimpsed in his eyes. Damien fed on that tension.
“I think he wants a better look, princess,” Damien murmured. “Show him. I want him to see you.”
I swallowed hard, then obeyed. A few steps carried me to Vale's side, and I turned slowly, facing Lucian head-on. His expression was a war between fury and desire, torn open and raw.
“Perfectly done,” Damien said. His gloved hand rose, slow and deliberate, until the leather traced the curve of my breast. A shiver rippled through me, betrayal and bliss tangling as Lucian’s stare seared my skin.
Then the door opened.
“Christ,” I breathed, my heart lurching.
Adrian stepped inside. His eyes locked on me, and for the first time in all my years with Vale, my composure cracked. He had never involved Adrian in his games. Never.
I had imagined this moment before, in the secret corners of my fantasies, Adrian’s gaze heavy on me, catching me in my most vulnerable state. But I never thought it would become real.
Adrian’s voice cut through the charged silence. “Everyone got out safely. Lacroix will be licking his wounds for a few days.”
Vale's lips curved faintly. “Good. I was rewarding the man who saved our girl.”
Adrian’s gaze flicked briefly to Lucian, but never once did it linger on me. “Your trust was put in the right person.”
“We shall see,” Vale murmured. His attention stayed fixed on Lucian, sharp as a blade. “If he accepts my reward. I believe there may be great things in store for him one day.”
Adrian gave no sign of discomfort, no blush, no twitch of unease. He was unreadable as stone.
Vale turned to me. “Princess. I’ll allow you to express your gratitude in words, if you would like.”
I let out the breath I had been holding. “Thank you, Lucian, for helping me escape.”
Lucian rubbed the back of his neck, his lashes lowering in a way that was almost boyish. He looked bashful in the most unexpected, almost adorable way.
“I think Lucian here deserves more,” Vale continued smoothly. “From what I understand, he stole a car for you.”
Lucian stiffened. “I don’t like being used. Whatever this is, I don’t want a part in it.”
Vale gave a faint shrug. “And yet you haven’t left. The door is open. Nothing is keeping you here.”
Lucian’s eyes darted to me. Sweat beaded at his brow, his jaw tightening.
“Seduce him for me, princess,” Vale said, his voice low and sharp.
Lucian swallowed hard, his breath catching. Anticipation, fear, and desire flickered across his face all at once.
“Do you want her?” Damien pressed. “Be honest. If you don’t, you can leave right now.”
Lucian’s throat worked as he forced the words out. “I do want her.”
“Then he is all yours, princess.”
My breath caught. The command hung in the air, heavy and dangerous. But I shook my head. “This isn’t the game I want to play, Vale.”
I braced for his disappointment, maybe even his anger. But instead, he only smiled. A smile that chilled me even as it thrilled me. “Then perhaps we will play another one later. One more to your liking. But until then, I plan on punishing you for speaking. Keep silent, princess.”
His eyes blazed with authority, and I pressed my lips together, obeying. Still, excitement rushed through me, wild and electric, at the thought of what punishment might come.
A flicker of disappointment crossed Lucian’s eyes, raw and real. I could not stop the small smile that curved my lips, meant only for him.
“Come, Marina. The limo is waiting outside,” Vale said.
Adrian stepped forward with perfect timing, holding out my dress. “I brought your things.”
I dressed quickly, wordless as the rules demanded, but my silence was heavier than the weight of the fabric.
Lucian stepped closer, his voice breaking the still air. “I thought you said your name was Catalina. I hope you know you can trust me, Marina. I’m not the kind of man who could ever hurt someone who didn’t hurt me first.”
His sincerity cut deep, so pure it almost broke me. But it didn’t matter. Unless Vale willed it, I doubted I would ever see Lucian again. I wanted to apologize for lying, to give him that truth, but obedience sealed my tongue.
“Wait,” Lucian said suddenly, desperation in his voice. “Marina. You don’t have to go with him. He doesn’t own you.”
I tried to signal with my eyes, my hands, to tell him I was fine. But he didn’t understand.
In a rush, Lucian caught my wrist, pulling me close. “I can save you. I still have the car keys. We can make a run for it.”
Adrian stepped forward in an instant, firm but gentle as he pried me free. His hand lingered protectively at my shoulder, shielding me from Lucian’s desperate pull.
“It is time for Marina to go,” Vale said, his voice calm but final. “Thank you for your services, Lucian.”
His palm pressed lightly to the small of my back, guiding me toward the door with unshakable possession.
Lucian’s voice broke behind us. “It’s wrong to own people. She deserves better, Vale. Marina deserves better.”
Damien glanced back, that faint crooked smile curving his mouth. “If you think she deserves better… then find me. And prove it.”
Lucian’s voice rose, shaking with rage and something sharper. “One day you won’t have Marina to toy with. And when that day comes, I won’t let her die as your slave.”
Vale's expression sharpened into something crueler, colder. “Do you want to fight for her love, boy? Play the hero you imagine yourself to be? Then come for me. I am ready.”
My breath caught. Lucian’s words struck me harder than I expected, but I knew better than to let this spiral. Vale thrived on challenges like this, and Lucian wasn’t ready for the storm he was calling down.
Without a word, I reached out and touched Vale's arm, the smallest signal. His eyes flicked down to where my fingers brushed his sleeve. He understood.
“Marina is correct,” Vale said at last, his gaze sliding back to Lucian. “You are not worth the effort. Not yet. But if you truly want her, then come find me when you are ready. We will see what kind of man you become.”
Lucian’s face burned with fury and frustration, his fists clenched at his sides.
Adrian’s calm voice broke through the tension. “It is time to go.”
In a swift motion, he took my arm, steering me toward the door before Lucian could say another word. His strength was steady, unyielding, and I let myself be swept away.
Marina’s POVI pulled off my clothes and kept my eyes locked on Vale’s as I undressed.“Good girl,” he said. “Now get on your hands and knees.”“Yes, sir,” I replied.“Follow me.”He led me through the halls and back to his office. There, he sat in his chair behind his desk.“I want you to kneel between my legs with your legs open. I want the lips of your pussy spread.”I followed his orders. My lips parted wide, and I felt the cool air touch the wet space between them.“Now stay until I tell you to move.”“Yes, sir.”I stayed perfectly still and waited for his next words. It felt so good to obey him like that.Over the next three hours, he handled several business meetings and calls. He never acknowledged me or drew attention to me. But everyone who entered the room could see I was his submissive, his favorite. When half the day had passed, he finally reached down and pulled me close. He held me so we could both relax.“Do you want your reward?”“Yes, sir.”“What do you want? Pain or
Marina’s POVI rushed across the room and grabbed Adrian's arm just before he could open the door. My heart raced with worry for Lucian, who stood there looking so vulnerable. 'Wait,' I said, my voice firm but pleading. 'Let me take him.'Adrian turned to me, his broad shoulders tense under his suit jacket. The club's dim lights cast shadows on his stern face. 'As your bodyguard, I don't like you being alone with him,' he replied, his tone protective and unyielding.I nodded quickly, not wanting to argue. 'Fine, you can come with us then.'From the corner, Vale's voice cut in, sharp and commanding. 'No, Marina. You stay.'I ignored him for a moment and pulled Adrian aside, leaving Lucian standing alone by the door. He looked like a lost puppy, his eyes wide with fear, hands fidgeting at his sides. The room felt smaller, the air thick with tension from the music thumping outside.'He's obviously scared,' I whispered to Adrian, glancing back at Lucian.Adrian crossed his arms, his jaw s
Marina’s POVI saw Lucian standing right in the middle of the velvet and warm lights of the club floor like he thought he was the hero in someone’s story. The sight of him there made me laugh before I could stop myself. He really believed I was here against my will. But this place was my home. I would not have chosen anywhere else.“Did you hear me, Marina?” he said. “I’m going to rescue you.”I looked at him carefully. His voice sounded sincere. Too sincere.“Rescue me, Lucian,” I said before I could think. Before he could answer, Vale stepped into the space beside me like he had always been there. His presence shifted the air.“Quiet, Marina,” he said. “This is my home. Our home.”I felt Adrian arrive before I saw him. Then he came into view at the bar, calm as always. He placed a gentle, steady hand on Lucian’s arm. Not threatening. Just firm.“Relax,” Adrian said. “I’m here to make sure no one gets hurt. Unless they want to be.”Lucian’s jaw tightened.Vale’s expression cooled. “L
Marina’s POVVale’s mouth curved slightly, but his eyes were cool. “Interesting. But I don’t see it.”Adrian leaned against the desk with a faint smirk. “No one here likes her. A spy usually does better when they’re liked but stay invisible.”“Not to mention,” Vale added, “Yasmin is the type to start drama, not watch from the sidelines.”My fingers tightened on my pen until my knuckles went white. “So someone like Adrian then. Everyone likes him. Yet he just watches from the sidelines.”Adrian’s head snapped toward me. His expression flickered between shock and anger. “Have you forgotten that I saved your life yesterday?” he said quietly. “And Vale’s?”“Maybe the whole thing was a setup to cement your loyalty to us,” I said, my voice low.He was standing over me in a flash, his frame blocking out the light. The heat of his body reached me before his voice did.“You’re not so easy to intimidate,” he murmured, his lips close to mine.I met his eyes and forced myself to hold steady even
Marina’s POVVale might have been the owner of Velour, but it was Talia who made sure we survived nights like last night. She had been running security for years, and I depended on her more than anyone. If I was the one who kept the machine running, Talia was the shield that protected it.She opened her laptop and said, “We have a spy.”The words cut sharper than her tone. My breath caught. “Do you know who?”“Not yet. But there’s no way the attack on the party was a coincidence. Only the employees knew the celebration was for Vale, and no one outside our walls could have staged it so perfectly unless they had inside help.”“So…” My throat went dry. “It had to be one of our people.”Her silence was confirmation enough.I thought immediately of Adrian, Vale’s right hand. He had worked for Victor once, everyone knew that, but surely Talia would have flagged him by now if she thought he was a threat. Still, the thought lodged itself in the back of my mind, a thorn I couldn’t ignore.“I w
Marina’s POVThe cool night air hit my skin as we stepped outside. The waiting limo gleamed in the shadows, its black paint catching the streetlights. Adrian opened the door and guided me in, his movements as precise as always. The leather seats swallowed me whole as I sank into them, the silence pressing close around me.Adrian closed the door behind me, then circled to the front. He slid in beside the driver without another word, his profile unreadable. The leather interior of the limo wrapped around me like a cocoon, though it did nothing to quiet the storm inside my chest. Before I could gather myself, Vale reached for me, cupping my face in his gloved hands. The soft black leather pressed against my skin, a familiar comfort and a wall he always placed between us.“I was so worried about you,” he said, his voice low, almost tender. “For a moment, I thought I would never see you again. After all the work you put into my birthday, it’s a shame it had to be ruined by Victor’s petty r
