My mulling over what just transpired came to an halt when I heard my mother calling me for dinner. I don't think I can even swallow a morsel of food after what has just happened. Since, I did not want my mother to unnecessarily fret over me. I forced myself to calm down while trying to be positive.
When I reached the dining room I came to know that Adam has already left as he had some impromptu conference call. Its kind on his part to leave as I would not want to face him so soon. There is no doubt that we need to have a conversation like mature adults over what just became apparent to us.
