Laura was getting ready to leave the mansion, and Daniel was too. "I'm leaving, Daniel," Laura said, picking up her handbag and preparing to exit the room. As Daniel packed some documents into his briefcase, he glanced at Laura and reminded her, "Make sure you come home soon," sounding authoritative.

Laura nervously nodded her head, forcing a smile before departing. "Sure thing, boss," she muttered, rolling her eyes dramatically as she descended the stairs. Even though Laura and Daniel had gotten close, Daniel was still bossy, which made Laura feel uneasy.

When Laura got to her parents' house, she swiftly went into the house to see her Mom, "Mom!" She called out upon entering the house. "I'm in the kitchen Laura!" Claudia answered. Laura navigated to the kitchen immediately to meet her Mom.

"Hey, Mom," Laura whispered, her voice carrying a hint of sadness as she wrapped her arms around her mother. "I'm glad you're here, Laura. How's Daniel?" Claudia asked, turning to look at her daugh
