Chapter 3: WHAT'S YOUR NAME?

"How was your day?" A man asked. 

Lin Zoe was formal and made sure she looked normal. 

"Fine, my first day was good." She replied.

The man was accompanied by a middle-aged woman who was the mother of Zoe. She thought of her as being her mother and quickly greeted her.

"Hello!" she said sweating and smiling.

Her mom who was beside looked kind and reserved. 

"I'm happy your day was good." 

Her mom was a young woman who was in the middle of her 40's. She had friendly looks and was calm and reserved. 

"When you get back home you bathe and I will send back your Mom home." the man said.  

"Okay!"

She did not even take the time to see the face of the man talking to her. His voice was sweet like honey and made her feel numb. Not knowing where she was going to or how will her new home be, she preferred to stay quiet. 

The woman smiled at her and held her hands with her.

"Lin! If you need any help, I and Shen Zhi will look after you."

She blushed and lowered her head. 

"Thank you!" she replied. 

Her fake mother was kind and generous and could not bring her trouble. What about the man who was in front and who is he?  Her mother suddenly opened the door and left the car. 

"I will ask my driver to get me back home. Leave me here." 

"Goodbye!" they hailed.

As soon as the woman left, Lin let out a great sigh and peeked at the man driving. 

"Who is this man?" she thought.

...

"Mr. Tsu! Mr. Tsu! There is a woman calling out for you." His secretary called.

"What is it?" Tsu Lian asked. "She is saying to be the sister of the dead woman in the airport..."

"Let her in!" he said coldly.

Tsu Lian was not in a good mood. He knew exactly the family of Alya and at the mention of Alya's sister, he let out a cold aura which was almost terrifying. 

"Tsu Lian! Tsu Lin'er!" the woman called angrily

At the moment she stepped inside, she gazed at the man before her and he looked like a rumble of thunder striking on his prey.

"Don't EVER call me like that." 

"He's so scary, like in good old times." She thought for a moment. 

She made a long way from her home to come to his office. She was determined to crush this figure into crumble of sand and eat him raw. She was being cruel, but could not stand like a loser looking at the person about to seize her life. 

"I will not let myself deceived by him."

She walked right to his desk and slammed the table.

"I will call you like that until you sit down and listen to me." she said. 

He calmed down and looked at her with stern eyes. 

"What do you want?" 

"I know it is you who killed Alya, right?" she said angrily. 

"Huh!" he smiled, as if he was mocking at her.

"What?"

This man was cool and kept his hands in his pockets. He stood up and walked around the girl like a beast surrounding his dinner. He had such a cold aura that she was chilling cold till her spine. She could not care about how terrifying he was but, kept confused by the meaning of his smile earlier. 

He sighed and sat down. 

"My dear Lin Mi, so charming but yet naive like your sister indeed. If she had emotional problems, what do I have to do inside?" 

The woman clenched her fists and trembled anxiously. 

"Just understand this once for all. Whatever you try is useless because even if you say the truth, we will always have the power to turn things upside down and keep dignity."

The woman could not restrain herself anymore and ran to strangle him. Unfortunately, she was caught by two guards who were standing inside.

"You monster, shit!" she cried. 

"Guards, please gently send this woman out of my company and if she persists bring her to the psychiatric help, they may cure her." He said with a relaxed expression.

Lin Mi grind her teeth and internally growled. She was furious. 

"Trying to humiliate me but I have not finished with you." She thought, lowering her head and clenching her fists. 

"I will go but before leaving, I hope you perish in crap." She said, even having more stern eyes than him.

Then she went out slowly out of the wolf's den now, Tsu Lian's company.

Two days later after the burial ceremony of Alya...

"I want to sleep. I'm really tired." Lin Zoe said in weariness.

It was now two days after Alya's burial and a multitude of fans had gathered to mourn her at the town's celebrities grave. All the head news announced her burial praising her hard work and achievements. Not one headline did not speak about her burial which created a subject of hype. 

"Too sad I was not present at my own burial." She sat on the bed, pouncing on her pillow.

"You have to bathe! Just get to the bathroom." Shen Zi said, as he smoothly entered the room to check on her. 

She was feeling very tired and did not prefer bathing for the moment. She was reluctant and only wailed through her pillow. 

"I will bathe but later, please!" 

"I will just let you go this time!" he replied.

He felt pity for the poor girl and accepted to leave her for some time. 

When Alya died in the hospital, at the same time the real Lin Zoe was seriously ill and doctors said she could not make it. Alya's soul quickly replaced hers, out of luck and compensation for her deeds in her life. Alya's afterlife was in Zoe's body. 

This was her second chance given and the last one she could use. 

"Uh, Shen Zi... I have a problem. There's my boss," she said with a depressed look. 

"Tsu Lian?" he asked quickly as he recalled the name of her boss. 

Shen Zi knew Tsu Lian just because, he was the one who holds the company in which she works. 

"He made my cousin die from a broken heart because he shocked her. She was so shocked she died. Alya was like my sister to me and the events are just too painful to mention." 

Shen Zi was new in Beijing and did not know about celebrities there and he could not know Alya was a popular model. He just focused on what she was saying and was quite amazed. If Lin Zoe opened herself like that is because of the sadness she felt when all her family was beside her in her hospital bed gazing at her with tears and all she could do was look back at them in a pitiful way.

She was in a rage and was wishing an act of revenge that will end all of the troublesome years of his ex-lover. 

"Zoe! I will get to see about that but do not think about those things. Focus on how you live and how you are happy. Don't worry about it. Anything you need, I will help you." he said smiling at the young woman. 

She nodded and slept on her pillow.

Tsu Lian was still thinking about that previous smile of the newbie model and ressembled Lin Mi's smile. It made him thought about someone but he did not recall who. Lin Zoe was passing by and was hurrying for her gym training.  

"Please, Miss, wait for a second!" he said as he grasped her hand. 

"Hello, Mr! What can I do for you?" she greeted, as she smiled.

"This smile again, but who are you?" he thought cynical. 

"Miss, what's your name again?" he asked. 

"My name is Lin Zoe," she said calmly. 

"Please, secretary, check on her ID and tell me if she is a suitable model." Tsu Lian asked his bodyguard handing his phone as he looked at her. 

"Is he teasing me? Can't he do that away from me? I come from a very good background." she thought pissed.  

"Her name is Lin Zoe from the Lin family and she is aged 22. She comes from a well-bred family and has a high standard of education. Her husband's name is Shen Zi and she is new to the company." He said in a high voice. 

"Newbie Lin, I have an offer for you," he said forwarding to her. 

"I see you work really hard here."

"Will you like to participate in this Spring parade?" he asked. 

"I... I... but for sure," she said gladly and smiling at him. 

"Okay! your manager will take charge of you. I will inform you of all the details." He said

He was leaving, with his hands in his pockets and his secretary carrying his heavy flyers.

"Tsu Lian, you are already paving the way for my plan to start, I have allies with me. It will finish very badly for you."
