His Slave

“Have you lost your senses, Amal?” the first voice rise over the rest, and Sam who gas been striving to digest what was going on, sat up on her hinge, and craned her neck to look at who was speaking. It was the black wavy hair man from before. It seems it’s his father.

The Alpha slowly twisted about to look at the speaker, fire inherent in his deep blue. Instantly the woman sitting by the side of the man, with equal blue eyes and blond hair stood, and held her raging husband that looked like he wanted to attack his son.

“I am the Alpha of this pack father. Lest you have forgotten, I make the final decisions,” the Alpha snarled, earning a bat eye from the mother.

“Shut your mouth this minute, Amal. Have you forgotten who you are speaking to? Your father!” the woman briskly shunned him. Though he didn’t seem moved by her words.

“How can you make her you slave? We abolished that a long time ago. She is a traitor and deserves to be killed,” his father went on to reason.

“Well, as I said earlier, as the Alpha I hold the last word. So she would be my slave,”

“You have lost your marbles, Amal. I knew right from when you came in from that mission that something has gone wrong with you! Take me out of here, lest I lost my mind on him,” his father said and began walking out of the table.

The other elders who has been watching the charade with open mouths and eyes all stood and commenced walking out with him, a look of disbelief still plastered on their faces.

The Alpha stood resolute watching them file out, to remain only him, the hunky man, another man standing closer to the Alpha now, then Samantha, and the girl red-haired girl.

The girl stood from her seat and began ambling in the Alpha’s direction, “Amal,” she purred, “Don’t you think that decision of yours was a bit too rash?” she quizzed, picking up a glass of white wine from the table to step down to the level of the others.

“ I don’t need your approval, Paisley,” the Alpha’s hard tone grated through the air.

“I know, I know. I am just saying… maybe you should just kill her,”

“Well, I won’t. Can we leave now?” he whipped about and made for the door.

The girl didn’t leave immediately. She stood and severely weighed Samantha on the floor with evil eyes, “Consider yourself one of the lucky ones. Though I pity the rest of your existence as his slave. He would drain you,” with that, she emptied the glass of white wine on Sam and made after the Alpha.

Sam wiped vigorously on her face and body, her emotions becoming dismal. The thing appeared surreal to her. A while ago she ascertain that she was going to die. And now, she is faced with an ultimate realization that she might actually be going crazy.

When the Alpha had come in, she has received that scent. It was powerful and entrancing despite her fighting to acknowledge it. She had heard stories of rare cases when people are blessed with a second chance mate. But she was an Omega and Omegas are rarely granted such favors by the goddess.

Second chances are for high-ranking wolves. That left her thinking perchance it was all an illusion.

Then why did he let me live? She thought. Did he feel it too?

The hunky man soon dragged her away from the now-empty hall out of the building to the open weather. Sam welcomed the fresh breeze that hit her face, reminding her that she was going to live yet another day. She doesn’t know one thing about being a slave. She has heard people talk about it and sneaked a peek in the library back home at how they were treated. If it were anything close to what she read, then she knew she was done for.

“Walk faster, murderer! I don’t have time to watch you dawdle. Just because you have been allowed to live doesn’t mean you___”

“Lugard!” the voice of the Alpha reverberated from the car parked ahead of them. He was standing gallantly close to the door of the car, his eyes devoid of any emotion. “Take her back to my house and make sure she is kept in the slave quarters. Create one!” he delved into the car and banged the door gravely.

Sam watched with a dejected heart as the car pulled out of the park, the dust infiltrating their faces. Sam bent over letting out a spree of coughs.

Not waiting for her to recover, the hunky guy seemingly used to that treatment, began dragging her way in the left direction from where the dungeon is located.

Anywhere, as far as I am far from that dastardly dungeon. Sam gave the gate one last look.

It wasn’t a long walk as they soon arrived in front of an enormous building standing at the center of the pack.

Sams’s eyes walked the entire panorama of the mansion. Her former pack Alpha’s house was nothing compared to this one. It looked like an adobe palace.

She wasn’t allowed to finish adoring the aesthetics whence being tugged into the building which flung open and she was ushered into the big space.

“This is where you would stay until the Alpha orders otherwise. Do. Not. Ever.

Come. Out.” He instructed “Remain in here until you are called, understood?”

Sam’s head was bouncing but quickly corrected herself as he stalked close, “Yes, Sir.” She reeled, jumping away from him.

The door bashed at her face, rendering the entire room in extreme darkness.

“That was a way to go, Samantha. At least you are alive,” Sam mumbled to herself, strolling to the wall to find a switch.

The minute the light can’t on the flopped to the ground and cried out her eyes.

She thought of what the lady from back at the council hall has told her. The mere thought of more pains inflicted on her life, made Sam lose her waterproof of tears.

Recently, everything seems to be cascading down the line for her.

“I just pray I can bear the thought of becoming a slave to someone that is supposed to be my mate. Oh, Derrick. How my heart yearns for you. If only you were alive,”

That was the last thing she said before the cold hands of sleep lured her in.
