Chapter 52 - Not Possible

STRIKER

The loud noise of my wolf growling inside my head woke me up from my deep slumber. I thought I was dead when I saw Lana’s face and then couldn’t keep my eyes open after that.

But to my surprise, I was much alive. And not even in control of my own body.

It was odd. I wanted to move, but couldn’t. I tried to talk, but it came out more like a growl.

Before I could understand what was happening, my body was thrown out of the bed and then out of the window.

I was pushed somewhere at the back of my mind before pain engulfed me as a whole. It was hot and sharp. It started from the edge of my spine as it cracked before spreading throughout my limbs, my head, and my eyes.

All the pain and the sensations were foreign. This was confusing me.

Was I dead? Or alive?
