Chapter Thirty One

Paige

I cried as I slumped to the ground with Viktor.

For a few seconds everything stopped around me. I started crying while looking into his eyes and he smiled at me before placing a gentle kiss on my lips.

He rested his head on the ground and my eyes widened.

"No!" I yelled in agony before placing my hands on his wound. I ripped a piece of my shirt off before pressing it against his wound but the blood kept oozing out of his body and all I could do was cry.

"Viktor! Please stay with me. Don't go to sleep." I begged him and his eyes flickered open and shut as he tried to stay awake.

"Ivan!" I called and Ivan came running up to me. "Please help him." I begged and Ivan helped Viktor up before heading towards a black jeep.

I briefly looked over at Luciano and Dario but they were fully engaged in the war taking place around us so I ran over to Viktor's jeep. Ivan helped me get in then we sped down to the hospital.
