I ran into Dario's arms and he placed a kiss on top of my head. I slowly looked up at Luciano and his jaw clenched.

"How is he?" He asked and I chose to just ignore him. I watched him walking over to Vera who ran into his arms before crying into his shirt.

I took a step back from Dario and spotted a hole in his shirt so I frowned deeply.

"What happened? Are you hurt?" I asked urgently and he shook his head at me.

"I'm wearing a bulletproof vest." He said and I sighed in relief before opening his shirt.

"You should take that off, I'll go get help." I said and he sighed before stopping me.

"I really thought you were gone." He said under his breath before looking into my eyes. "You're still here." He said and I nodded before hugging him once more.

"You should stay here I'll go look for help." He said with tears in his eyes so I just nodded.
