Raymond's P.O.V

“What are you going to do?”

I stared at Drakon, feeling conflicted by his question. He came to the manor the next day after I told him Lily was attacked.

He was sipping wine from a bottle and had his legs placed on the table. Sometimes his carefree attitude once inside my home was annoying. Other times it felt natural and I couldn't complain.

“Dominic tried to abduct her once again,” I stated.again to Drakon. He was acting like I hadn't already told him everything that happened, and how I planned to resv9lce the issue.

“You seem so confident that it was Dominic.” He sipped the bottle and wine again and smacked his lips loudly. “By the way, you have excellent taste in wine,” he went off course.

I stomped up to him and snatched the bottle from his hand. “Dominic messed with Lily's safety. I won't let it slide.” I bellowed, my voice laced with my desire for vengeance.

Drakon mused thoughtfully, his mind turning over the implications of his next words carefully.

    Lily“I didn’t want to bother you anymore with everything going on with you.” Gary mused with a wide smile on his face as we sat down on a bench. I made a humming sound, stretching out my cramped leg. “Truth is, I needed to get away from that room before I lost my mind. And I must say, thank you for bringing me here.” Since I had missed our intended outing the first time. I couldn’t do much for about a week as I was too preoccupied with the thoughts of Raymond with the fear that something might go wrong while I was away. I eventually caved in when he asked me to go out with him again this week. To my surprise, Gary had brought me to an amusement park. When I asked him why, he said he hoped that I would be interested in all of the things the park has to offer. He only wanted to get into the ride and feel some adrenaline pumping. Now I know how he can maintain such a happy sight every time. Being able to tap into one’s inner child. “How are you feeling?” He asked staring into space.

    Lily“How is your day going?” Glory asked cheerily on the other end. I stabbed at my lunch, a dry plate of salad, and shrugged. “Not so good. There is no cream to eat my salad.” I whined. She laughed lightly, “Sorry about that. I am on night duty today. We will get to see later. I made apple pie will bring you some.” “I will appreciate it so much.” I mused smiling. “Alright, I will talk to you later.” The call ended and I went back to the food. I had asked for a salad plate but couldn’t seem to tell the kitchen that they forgot to add cream. I know I should ask I just don’t quite feel deserving of it. It has been two weeks since Glory got me a spot in her brother’s restaurant to work as one of the waitresses. It was unexpected news and I was very grateful when she told me. I got working immediately even though the said brother wasn’t around and had left for a chef convention.     LilyI don’t think I have ever felt so much emptiness in my life as I have felt in the past three days. Every day I wake up feeling hopeful that Raymond will wake up from his slumber. It would have been fair if the doctor didn’t always look so dejected whenever he came by to take a look at him. In his eyes, I can see his intention to tell me to let him go. Or I am probably just imagining things. Either way, I really do not care. Raymond will be on life support for as long as he can until he wakes up, which I am very sure he will. Lily gasped next to me as she grabbed a hold of my arm. Those bastards! How did they get to find me? I thought we had settled things and I didn't have to worry anymore about them. I know what they are here for and there is no way I will let them have their way. They had bargained for Lily and I had fought them off thinking they had let go. They must have fooled me and have me tailed to make sure they get to me.
