Chapter 12: He must be ready

Millicent went to Miss Wyatt's funeral. She was saddened about what happened to Miss Wyatt. She remembered everything that happened during their first encounter. The memories were still fresh in her head as if it had only just occurred yesterday. Millicent was devastated. She was inconsolable. She couldn't stop crying. She wanted to tell Miss Wyatt how much she loved her and that she misses her terribly. But she didn't say anything. She just stood there and kept silent.

The church was filled with mourners. Millicent was the last one to leave the place. She was alone in the street. She stopped and thought about what to do next. She went back home and locked herself in her room. She wanted to cry forever. She wanted to scream out loud and curse the world for what it did to Miss Wyatt. Why is their life so limited? Why does it have to end like this? Why did it have to happen to her? Why did it happen to Miss Wyatt? Why did it happen to me? What kind of world
