Chapter 0002

Growing up, I realize that the pack members find it hard to identify the Alpha-Princes. I couldn't relate. I still can't. I mean, I identify them with just a glance, which is a bit odd, if I'm being honest.

The Alpha-Princes are very identical, like one of them was split into three more guys. They have the same height. Same voice. Same mischievous acts. The differences in their dress sense aren't so significant, as sometimes, they get mischievous and dress like each other, just to mess with everyone's head even more.

One time, Lucas dressed like Larry and stole his Father's most expensive wristwatch. It caused quite a stir and his Father pinned Larry for it. The poor man could only identify them through their dress sense. So Larry took the fall and was publicly punished.

I still think Lucas had something on Larry or promised him a fortune which made me not rat Lucas out. No way he faced that humiliation for nothing.

And that's just one of the hundred times the quadruplets pulled a fast one on their old man, and not just him, but the innocent Pack members too.

In Mid-School, it was chaotic. The teachers couldn't tell their differences so they just refer to them as 'The Johnsons'. The brothers took pride in that and carried out a lot of shenanigans.

The height of it all was when Lucas misdirected a teacher into taking the wrong route. He fell off a cliff and stayed in a coma for weeks.

Justice had to be served but which of the brothers did it? Well, no one knew. Except me. And dear goddess, I didn't want to get involved. I've never spoken to the brothers and they didn't know I existed. I wanted to keep it that way, but that would only mean that the culprit would get away. I couldn't stand the guilt of not doing anything. So I ratted him out.

Lucas got suspended and his Father ripped him off his princely duties for months. He had to do community service and prove to the people that he has the potential to be one of the future Alphas.

When he was relieved of his suspension and returned to school, I was his first target. And not just him, but his brothers too. They all came for me, and I've been in hell ever since then.

“I didn't mean to show off. I was just apologizing,” My lips were quivering so badly that I had to bite down my lower lip.

“Well, you didn't have to try so hard. You still gonna get your ass whupped. So what's the point, right?“ He chuckles humorlessly.

One other thing that makes it easier for me to identify them is their personalities.

Lynn is always laid back. He barely lets anything get to him. You never see him in rage. He doesn't show his anger. He could be boiling up but still flashing you the cutest smile ever. Makes him a rather complex guy.

I don't say anything more and I'm just shaking like a wet puppy. Spectators might think I'm overreacting. He's just standing there, relaxed and saying calm words, so why am I shaking so badly? That's because they do not know Lynn Johnson. His threats are always delivered calmly, but he goes all out to make it hellish for you.

He stalks me and stops a few inches away from me. “Look at your glasses, nerd. So dusty. How do you see through this thing?“

Before I can say 'Jack', he takes off my glasses and spats on each eye. His saliva rolls to all sides of it.

“There, much better,“ He smirks, and puts back the glasses on my face, “Try not to bump into random guys. I'll be seeing you soon. And don't forget, you owe me a pussy,”

He pats my shoulder and walks away, taking with him his overwhelming aura.

I release my pent-up breath and a tear drops from my eyes. I take off the glass and wipe off the saliva with my dress. Gross, I know, but I have nothing else to wipe it off with.

I manage to get to my locker and I stash my books away in it. I take out my Math textbook for my Math class and I slam the locker shut.

Then the familiar scent hit me and so did his voice. Mesmerizing. Soft. Soothing. Worth drooling over. The quadruplets indeed had similar voices but he had a slight softness in his that made it stand out from the others.

I force myself to walk away but I stop when I hear what he was saying.

“Look. There's your freaky step-sister,“

I try not to be so obvious when I glance at them and just as I thought. He is with my demon step-sister, Evelyn. They are on the other side of the hallway.

She's wrapped in his arms and her hands are around his neck, as they get lost in their hot make-out session.

That's Larry Johnson, the last of the quadruplets, and he's been Evelyn's boyfriend since sophomore year. One of the reasons why Evelyn feels like she has all the right to treat everyone like trash.

Right now, she's fixed between his inner thighs and rubbing a hand around his crotch. He's leaning against a locker and groping her slim waist. His lips left hers and he's placing kisses on her cleavage. Too intimate to be displayed in the hallway, but Evelyn doesn't give a fuck and neither does Larry. They are both huge fans of PDA, so it's just left for you to watch or ignore. I always choose to ignore them, but right now, they are talking about me, so it's hard to just ignore them and walk away.

“She's so not my sister,“ Evelyn snorts. “There has to be some sort of oversight. We don't have anything in common, we don't even look alike,“

True. Evelyn was the brighter, social, fashionable, and outgoing Lopez. Her heart-shaped face makes her look like a runway model. Sexy as hell with her curvy body, she dresses to kill. She's a flirt and has guys on her feet with just a flick of her fingers. I'm older by a month, but you can't tell. She looks way more refined than I can ever be.

But I'm the dull, boring, less curvaceous Lopez. My round face has a dull gleam. My boobs are small, and my ass is almost flat. My clothes don't fit, they always seem baggy. I don't go out. I've never had a boyfriend, so yeah, I'm a virgin. Never had my first kiss. Who would wanna kiss a dispiriting nerd like me?

Still, hearing her say it that way made it more disparaging and hurtful.

”I'm hot and drop-dead gorgeous, but she's hideous and irritating,“ Evelyn continues with her verbal assault, snarling at me, “No way she could ever be my sister,“

“Yeah. You two are nothing alike. You sexy as hell. Could make any guy get a hard-on with just a glance at you. But she–” he nods my way, “–she makes guys wanna puke,“

Way to go, Larry. Way to go!

You'd get more gems if you would correct your grammar and sentence structure. Readers don't want to rewrite the story in their head or try and figure out what you're trying to say!!
