Flashback to five years ago at San Lorenzo Convent...
"Lydia, I'd like to introduce you to Sister Lucinda. In this convent, she will be your roommate," Mother Superior Belinda said to Lydia.
Lydia took a look around and assessed the condition of the room. It's a good size, with two single beds and a side bed drawer in between that serves as a partition. There was a built-in cupboard on each side of the beds, as well as a study table beside it. The room has enough room for an additional couch, book drawers, and storage for their personal belongings. It has a large window and a balcony from which they can see the field and the small village of farmers and fishermen.

Ella felt confused and disoriented when she woke up. She slowly opened her eyes, squinting to sharpen the blurry images in front of her. She scanned her surroundings and noticed dull gray walls with a pungent smell of disinfectant.
