Chapter 27

"Aunt Rian, do you see what I see?" Yael asked. He was looking in Jacob's direction.

"Yael, wait a minute! I am just looking for a coin. Mr., how much did our fares cost?" Rian asked.

The tricycle driver responded but Rian did not hear it because of the volume of her cell phone. She quickly answered Freya's call.

"Mr., please wait. I will just talk to my friend," Rian said with a smile. She looked at Yael when he keeps on pulling her dress. "Yael, what is wrong with you?" Rian was a bit annoyed with Yael.

"It's daddy. He haunted me!" Yael rubbed his one eye. "Aunt Rian, can't you see him?"

Rian frowned. She knows that Yael's father is alive and well and she also knows that Freya was the reason why Yael believes that his father is dead. She almost jumped when Freya suddenly spoke on the other line.

["GET ON THE TRICYCLE AGAIN! GET BACK TO YAEL'S SCHOOL! YAEL'S DADDY IS HERE! PLEASE, RIAN. HE IS NOW WALKING TOWARDS YOU! THE TWO CAN'T MEET!]

Yael pulled the hem of Rian's dress even more.
