“I saw your car outside the cafe,” Dad remarked when I picked up his call. I had just arrived home with Clark, whose mischievous expression was written all over his face.

“I was just passing by earlier, Dad,” I said, hoping to keep the conversation brief. Before he could ask any more questions, I abruptly ended the call.

A wave of annoyance washed over me as I glanced at Clark. The urge to confront him surged within me; his possessiveness in my car frustrated me to no end.

My knees trembled slightly, and tension rippled through my body.

“Fuck you,” I nearly shouted, but he simply laughed it off.

As we entered the house, he kept one hand on my waist for support.

“You’re so irresistible; how can I resist?” he teased, giving me a gentle squeeze. I quickly shifted away, removing his hand from my waist.

"Leave me alone, Clark," I said, annoyance creeping into my voice as I tried to distance myself from him.

Startled, I woke up to the realization that it was already past eight in the morning. I quickly jumped out of bed and hurried to Hannah’s room, only to find it empty. Just then, I heard her voice coming from the kitchen, chatting with Clark. As I entered, Hannah greeted me with a bright smile. “Good morning, brother,” she said. "Good morning, princess" I smiled and greeted back at her and then turned to Clark, who was also grinning at me. “Good morning, Angelo. How was your sleep?” he asked casualy, oblivious to the fact that he had kept me awake all night and was nearly as exhausted as I was. I had half a mind to retort with a sharp curse, but my sister's presence kept me in check. The fact that I was suppressing my anger only seemed to amuse him more, as he smirked, clearly aware that I wouldn't risk appearing rude in front of Hannah. I decided to redirect the conversation. "How was your sleep, princess?" I inquired, addressing Ha

"Brother, where are we going?" Hannah inquired as we stepped out of the mansion after I picked her up. "I'm taking you to a friend's place while our parents are on vacation, princess. Just remember to tell him that our parents are on a business trip if he asks, alright?" I replied, glancing at my sister. "Hmm, okay, brother," she responded with a smile, taking hold of my hand. We walked side by side to the car, and Hannah remained quiet the entire journey. In fact, she fell asleep before we even reached Clark's house, which was a forty-minute drive away. I wasn’t sure if Clark was home from work; when I left his office earlier, he hadn’t spoken to me anymore after I insisted on not going to his house today. So, my return to the mansion was not just to accompany Hannah, but to take her to Clark's home. I chose not to wake Hannah; instead, I carried her in her deep sleep. Just as I lifted her out of the car, Clark arrived, timing it perfectly. I waited fo

As soon as someone knocked on my office door, I quickly pushed him away. He grinned, wiping his lips with his finger before doing the same to mine. “See, you can’t deny it, Angelo. Just accept the fact that I’m the only one who can make you feel this way,” he said, turning his back to me as he stepped back to his earlier seat. I swallowed hard, then turned to the door. “Come in,” I called out to whoever was outside. When the door opened, Papa and Carlotta walked in, looking stunned as they took in the sight of Clark sitting comfortably in my office. He even turned his chair to face them. “Well, think about my offer, little Hernandez,” Clark remarked as he stood up from his chair. I couldn’t help but notice the meaningful glance he shot at Carlotta. “I won’t be long, little Hernandez,” he added before I could respond, then turned away. As he walked out, he paused in front of Papa and Carlotta, casting a serious look at them without saying a

"What brings you here?" I asked, keep an eye on him. "Well, what's the usual purpose of a businessman visiting another successful businessman?" he replied, a hint of mischief in his tone. I frowned, shifted in my swivel chair, and regarded him with seriousness. "Stop joking, Clark. Which of my company's projects are you interested in investing in?" I pressed on. "Oh, I don't know. If you welcome other businessmen to invest in your projects, why is it a problem if I want to join in?" he countered. "My projects already have sufficient investment, so why not consider supporting your brother who is still struggling?" I suggested. "In fact, I have no interest in them. They’re getting what they deserve right now," he said seriously, leaning back in his chair, appearing more at ease than ever. "For now, just hold onto your investment until I actually need it; I don't need it at the moment," I replied. "Oh!" he shot back, abruptly lifting his leg to
