Bumping Into The Most Attractive Man!

Dear Diary,

It is September 19th, 2019. The night when I make more money and meet new people. The night that will never be forgotten. The night that will bring me great things and the night I will make a name for myself.

...

Emmaline Facer pulled her hair back as she dropped the pen in the center of her diary and shut it. It was the night she had been anticipating for days. Her college graduation night. She looked at the mirror and adjusted her lipstick.

A short, long-sleeved black dress was revealed when she opened her closet. Black is her favorite color, and she believes that it makes people look strong. She put on the dress and grabbed her black heels to finish her look. A smile appeared on her face as she returned to the mirror.

Emma was the kind of person who cherished money. Her mother always says, "Money always makes you a better person." When her father passed away when she was seven, she understood that he would have survived the accident and undergone surgery if they had that much cash on hand. However, because there was not enough cash to cover the cost of his procedure, he passed away shortly after being taken to the hospital. She will always remember that day.

As soon as she grabbed her bag, her phone began to buzz. Emma sighed as she answered the call. “Hey, Phoebe, are you there yet?” She asked.

"Yes, Max and I are here, and we're waiting for you," Phoebe scoffed. “Where the hell are you? The party is almost starting.”

“I am on my way out, but you still haven’t sent the address. You didn't send me the address for the party, so how am I supposed to know where it's being held, Phob's?”

“Oh sorry. I'll send it right away. Please be sure to arrive on time. You must meet Scott if you want to earn money. I've heard that the hotel being used for this party is owned by his father. He's a rich boy, so if you want this night to be the perfect evening you've imagined, be on time.”

Emma sighed. “I will be there soon.” Immediately after hanging up the phone, Phoebe left her a message. It was the address of the hotel for the party.

Ever since the start of college, Phoebe and Emma have been best friends. Emma had enrolled in the fashion program thanks to the university scholarship she was given. She’d met Phoebe on the night of the freshman party.

Being wasted, Emma was left alone in the bar, but Phoebe saw her and made the decision to take her to her dorm that night so she could stay with her. When Emma opened her eyes and noticed the room number on the door, they realized they were roommates. Since that time, they have remained best friends. Wherever Phoebe goes, Emma follows.

“Thank you, sir.” Emma extended her hand to the taxi driver and grinned as she paid the fare.

“Thank you, ma’am.” said the cab driver.

After exiting the vehicle, she locked the door behind her. As the car sped away, she scanned the area with her eyes. "Is this the correct location?" As she surveyed her surroundings in response to her own query, she noticed a sizable hotel to her left. She nodded. "It appears that this is the location."

The hotel had lighting fixtures throughout, giving it a palace-like appearance. It was substantial and appeared golden. She started to move and stopped at the entrance when she encountered the security guard who requested her pass. Emma presented him with her invitation, and he let her in.

As she entered the room, she noticed a large number of people chatting. It looked like so many people were invited. She ran into some familiar faces from her department. She picked up her phone and dialed Phoebe, but there was no answer. If she really knows her friend, Phoebe will only be in one place right now.

"I knew I'd see you here,” Emma said as she walked toward the bar with her arms folded.

Turning around, Phoebe spotted Emma. She held a bottle of champagne, swinging it in front of the bartender as she shot a mischievous smile at Emma. “Glad you are on time.” She walked up to Emma and examined her. “Wow. You look better in this dress than I do.” She encircled Emma's shoulder with her hand. "Scott is going to adore you. I promise.”

From behind them, someone yelled, "Emma!" and the voice was recognizable.

Emma noticed the voice of Toby Hallway. Her ex-boyfriend. "Why is he here?" She asked Phoebe.

“I don't know. He might have bought his way in here just to be with you.” Phoebe teased.

“Hahaha. Not funny. If I recall correctly, he left me three weeks ago because I didn't sleep with him. I mean, he is so toxic! He won't go away and let me be.” She groaned. "Phob's, I need help.”

“Hmm. I believe I have a solution to get rid of him.” Phoebe took Emma to the bar and sat her down. A glass of wine was served to Emma.

“Get rid of him? What do you mean?” Emma held the glass in her hand and drank from it.

“Just drink up. He won't be hurt, so don't be alarmed. He will just get out of your life.” She made a smirk as she retrieved her phone to make a call. After some time, she poured Emma another glass. “Tonight, we're going to get wasted.”

Emma felt confused. “But what about meeting Scott?”

“Don’t worry. The night has not yet ended. You will meet Scott when he is done with his people, and don’t worry about Toby. He's been taken away from here by Max's friend. He won’t bother you anymore.”

"Alright.” Emma placed the glass of wine in her mouth for a sip. She looked up at Phoebe, and they began to drink so much.

Phoebe stood from where she was seated and took Emma’s hand when the music started. "Come on, let's dance! This is our song." Phoebe dragged her up.

"Okay," Emma giggled, getting up from the stool.

She took Phoebe's hand into hers. They went up to the dance floor. Phoebe's boyfriend, Max, took her away so they could dance, leaving only Emma without a partner.

Emma returned to the bar to get another drink, but as she got closer, the ground started to tremble. With the way she was viewing the crowds, everyone began to spin. She was wobbling and wobbling off balance.

Unaware that someone was in front of her, Emma moved forward. By accident, she bumped into a young man, and the two of them landed on top of each other. When Emma opened her eyes, she could see the face of the young man who was laying on her. His hand was placed at the back of her head, protecting it from hitting the ground. She had never seen a more alluring man than him.

"Are you alright?" The young man groaned as he rose to his feet. “Here.” Emma accepted his hand when he extended it to her. He helped her stand up. She noticed that she hadn't seen him around before.

"I'm....so...sorry.” Looking into his ocean-blue eyes, Emma stumbled as she spoke. She was salivating. Since, like, forever, she hasn't seen a fine man.

"Beautiful girls never apologize. It should be my responsibility to apologize for running into you. You are also a little wasted.” He said.

“I am fine.” She breathed in. She could see the young man’s face perfectly, but everything else was still fuzzy to her. She felt that his face was the only clear thing. Her hand was still in his. When she realized this, she took it off.

"Oh," He said.

For a few minutes, they were silent before she broke it. "I don't remember ever seeing you... Did you go to school here?" She asked.

"Yes, I did.” He smirked. “I'm Ezra, by the way."

She uttered, "Emma." She chuckled while putting her hand on his cheek. She didn't understand why she did it, but she allowed her body to take control.

Her hand on his face made him feel incredibly uncomfortable. She was softly rubbing it. "Wow, that's a unique name for a pretty girl."

"I know. I frequently hear that from people.” As soon as she blushed, she removed her hand from his face.

"So wanna talk about it?" He asked.

Emma questioned in confusion, "About what?" She made a sinister smile. Biting her lip. Flirting.

"About anything. Why would a girl like you be here by yourself?”

She said, "I'm not alone. I came with my friends.”

Grabbing her hand, he nodded. "Come with me,"

They both walked over to the bar and she sat down on the stool. As he took a seat, she gave him a quick glance. The funniest part was that Emma wasn't sober yet. The most dangerous part was that Ezra was a handsome man, and she could bet her bottom dollar that if he asked for anything, she wouldn't be able to say no to him. Even if he asked for sex.
