Chapter 15

He widened his eyes as he saw her fingers move slightly. She was regaining consciousness.

He called for the doctor immediately as her fingers were moving rapidly.

The doctor rushed into the room and he went to check up on her. They did series of checks on her before coming to face Miles. She had opened her eyes already.

"She's awake now, there's no complications at the moment,if you want to take her home,we can perform her discharge process," the doctor said feeling relieved.

"Are you okay?" Miles asked Layla who was still looking confused. She had not gained clarity.

"I'm fine," she muttered absentmindedly as she glanced around the room. She noticed that the surroundings were white.

"Where am I?" She questioned with her hands on her head. She was feeling her head ache.

"We are at the hospital,I will talk to you later,you may leave," he said directing the last two statements to the doctor who gladly left the room. The pressure from Miles was awful.
