He got a call from Ella, and he groaned in tiredness. He cut the call immediately and put off his phone. He didn't want any disturbances in his work.
Ella glanced at her phone in anger as she thought about why he didn't pick up. She tried calling him again, but the phone had been put off.
She threw her phone on the bed in frustration.
"Why is behaving this way with me? I thought he loved me," she muttered to herself in annoyance.
"Sir, you are having a meeting with the investors in the next ten minutes, we have to convince them that our company is worth working with," his secretary said to him as she entered into the office.
Michael ignored her as he looked lost in thoughts. Belle, who was his secretary frowned seeing how lost he looked. He had never been so lost since she started working with him and that was about a year ago.
She wondered if he was facing any issue. She contemplated calling Layla as she knew Layla was his girlfriend.
