Elaine noticed how his eyes raked the room, then back at her.

“I was saying something!” She snapped, making him turn his face to her. He smiled and gestured that she continued and that she did.

She feared that he would turn her down because that was what most men of his kind did; and even though that idea still sounded appealing in a way, she also knew she would get tired of living here if she did nothing in a month.

“What do you intend to do then?” He drew slowly. His deep voice once again drew her in and she found herself moving closer to him as if in a trance.

“I don’t know… I could probably handle a random social media page for a start. Maybe then I’ll think about expanding after I’ve gotten the kind of fan base I need.” She answered hopefully.

To her utmost surprise, Richie agreed. She couldn’t believe it! Just like that!

“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” She chanted like a baby, whilst bouncing from foot to foot as she couldn’t hold in her excitement
