Mag-log inThe sound came again. A soft click. Ethan stopped. So did I. For one second, neither of us moved. Then his head lifted. “What was that?” I stared toward the bedroom door.
Another sound followed. This time the voices were familiar. Mum’s soft laugh, dad’s low reply. Keys dropping into the bowl by the door.“My parents.” I whispered.
He moved away immediately. “What do you mean, your parents?”
“They’re supposed to be gone. They said a week.”
Ethan was already reaching for his clothes. “How long does it take to get from here to the front door?” he asked.
“I don't know”
“Really?”
“I don't know!” My voice came out louder this time.
I grabbed the sheet and pulled it around myself as I jumped from the bed. We began to dress up immediately. My hands shook so badly I almost couldn’t get my skirt zipped. Ethan helped me with the button, fingers quick and sure, then tugged his own T-shirt over his head.
Mum called my name from downstairs. I rushed and slipped through the connecting door just before she came looking for me.
“Lily?”
“I'm here.”
She appeared in the hallway with Dad behind her. “The hotel had a problem,” she said. “We're staying home tonight and leaving again tomorrow morning.”
“Tomorrow morning?” I forced a smile. “Okay.”
Neither of them noticed anything. Not my messy hair, not even the way my face still felt warm. They were too tired from travelling to ask questions. Mum went straight upstairs. Dad checked into the balcony before heading upstairs too. And somehow, I survived the night. But I barely slept. Every time I closed my eyes, I remembered Ethan.
I turned over. Then again and again. I checked my phone. 2:14 a.m. I groaned and buried my face in my pillow. This was ridiculous. One night. That was all it had been. So why couldn't I stop thinking about it?
The next morning was worse. Suddenly, waiting for them to leave felt impossible. Every minute dragged. Breakfast, mum looking for something she had misplaced, Dad making phone calls. I wanted to scream. Finally, late that morning, they were ready. “We'll be back soon.” Then they left. The front door closed.
I stood there for three minutes. Then I turned toward the connecting door.
Before I could take another step, there was a knock. I smiled. Ethan. I opened it. He stood there, looking like he'd been waiting too.“So,” he said.
“So.”
“They are gone?”
“Yes.”
He just looked at me for a long second, then stepped inside, closed the door, and backed me against the wall. “Good.” He stepped more closer. My breath caught.
“I haven't stopped thinking about last night.”
“Neither had I”.
His mouth found mine. The kiss was hungry and deep. His hands slid under my top immediately, palms hot against my bare skin. He dragged the fabric up and over my head in one motion and tossed it aside. My bra followed a second later, he unhooked it with quick fingers and pulled it down my arms.
Then his hands were on my breasts. He didn’t touch them gently. He cupped them hard, squeezing, thumbs rough over my nipples until they peaked tightly against his palms. He pushed them together, watched the way they filled his hands, then bent his head and took one into his mouth, sucking strongly while his other hand kept kneading the other breast without mercy.
I gasped and arched into him. The slight edge of pain mixed with heat and it went straight between my legs.
“Ethan…”He didn’t stop. He switched to the other breast, biting down just enough to make me jump, then soothing the sting with his tongue. His hands stayed greedy the whole time, squeezing my nipples between his finger and thumb until I was squirming against the wall. “I thought about these all night,” he muttered against my skin. “How they felt in my hands. How they looked when you came.” He pushed my breasts together again and dragged his tongue right through the middle, slow and wet. Then he sucked one nipple deep into his mouth while his fingers twisted the other.
My knees went weak. I grabbed his shoulders to stay upright. He finally lifted his head. His mouth was wet. His eyes were dark. “Bedroom,” he said. I barely made it there before he was on me again. He laid me back on my own bed, yanked my shorts and underwear down in one pull, and spread my thighs. He really fucked me harder than he ever did the first time.
We lay there for a long time afterward, the morning light filtering through the curtains. Ethan's arms were around me, and I rested against him, listening to his breathing. Both of us were too tired to move. That morning was only the beginning.
Over the next few days, Ethan and I could barely keep our hands off each other. We spent our time tangled up in bed, giving in to whatever that had started between us ever since that night. Every time we thought we'd finally had enough, we'd end up wanting each other all over again.
Then one morning, I woke up alone. I saw the empty space beside me. For a few seconds, I didn't understand why.
“Ethan?”. I called.
There was no answer. I sat up quickly. His bedroom was quiet, too quiet. I grabbed my clothes and pulled them on, then stepped into the living room.
“Ethan?”
The next morning, I woke up first. Soft light came through the hotel window. I felt warm and happy. Ryan’s arm was still around me, and his skin felt nice against mine.I turned my head and looked at him. He was still asleep, and his face looked calm. I smiled and touched my lip. It was still a little swollen from all the kissing we had done the night before. Last night had been so good. I did not want it to end. Then my phone buzzed on the table. I reached for it carefully and checked the message. It was from my cousin. “Good morning! Don’t forget the family breakfast at 9. The groom’s whole family will be there. Including his big brother Ryan. He just got in last night. You’ll meet him!”My heart jumped. I read the message again. Ryan. Big brother. Groom’s family. I slowly looked at the man lying beside me. Is it same Ryan? The same guy who had held me, kissed me, and made me feel so good last night.“Oh no,” I whispered.Ryan opened his eyes. When he saw my face, he immediately loo
My hand moved from his shirt to his shoulder. His hand also tightened slightly around my waist. We stood from the sofa still close to each other. My back touched the edge of the bed. Ryan stopped. He looked into my eyes. “You sure?” My heart was pounding. I wanted it so I nodded anyways.Ryan leaned in again, and I closed my eyes as he kissed me again. I pulled him closer, just as a loud knock suddenly came from the door. We both froze. “Mr. Ryan?” a man's voice called from outside.I opened my eyes. Ryan stared toward the door. “Who is that?”Then the handle began to turn. And neither of us had time to move. The door was locked so the handle stopped moving. I held my breath.Ryan looked at the door, then back at me.“Mr. Ryan?” the voice called again.Ryan lowered his voice.“Give me a second.”He took one step toward the door.I caught his hand. “Wait.”He looked at me. I didn't know why I stopped him. Maybe because I didn't want the moment to end or because I was suddenly afraid th
Ava's POV The hotel was louder than I expected. People moved through the halls carrying dresses, gift bags, flower boxes, and bottles of champagne. Somewhere downstairs, music was playing, and every few seconds, someone laughed loudly. It was the night before my cousin's wedding, and I was already tired. I stood in front of a hotel room, staring at the number on my key card.“Room 408,” I whispered. I looked at the number on the door. 408. Perfect. I pushed the card against the lock. The light turned green. I smiled. “At least something is going right.” I opened the door and walked inside. I dropped my small suitcase near the entrance. “Finally.”I took two steps forward. Then I stopped. A man was standing in the middle of the room. He was tall, very tall and he was staring at me. I stared back. Neither of us said anything. For a few seconds, we simply looked at each other. Then the man slowly lifted an eyebrow. “Can I help you?”My face went hot. I looked at the room number again. “
The library closed early on Thursday. Jake and I still had half a chapter left for the group project in psych class. We walked back to my apartment with the same stack of textbooks he always carried. “Your notes are better than mine,” he said, dropping the bag on my kitchen table. “If I fail this, my dad splits the rent money.” I laughed softly. We sat down and opened the books. Jake leaned close while we worked. After a while he stopped writing and looked at me. “You were so sweet last time,” he said in a low voice. “But you’re a slut who needs more than one cock. You already know it.”I felt my face get warm. He had whispered those exact words against my ear when he fucked me. I still remembered how it felt. Jake smiled. “There’s a party tomorrow night at the blue house on Maple Street. Starts at nine. Come. My hockey friends will be there. You’ll like them.”I should have refused. Instead I nodded. Friday moved too slowly. I finished my shift at the campus café, showered, and pul
Lena’s POVI always liked Jake. From the first week of college I watched him in class. Tall, easy smile, the way he focused when he studied. I think he stole glances at me too. I caught him staring at me sometimes when I laughed or when I leaned over my notes.Exams were close. So I decided to invite him over to study at my place. My roommate was gone for the weekend. I showered early and took my time getting ready. I put on a fitted tank top and a short skirt. At exactly noon, there was a knock at my door. I checked myself in the mirror one last time before heading towards the door. I had changed into a soft pink top that dipped low in front with a mini denim short. No bra under the top. Just thin fabric over my boobs. I wanted him to notice. I had spent more time choosing my clothes than I wanted to admit.I opened the door. Jake stood outside with his backpack over one shoulder and a few books in his hand. His eyes moved over me for a second. “You look gorgeous.”My face warmed. “
There was still no response. The kitchen was empty. I checked the bathroom. Empty too. My stomach tightened. His phone charger was gone from the wall. The jacket that usually hung behind the door was gone too.I walked faster. The apartment looked different. Not messy, not lived in. Just very empty. I stopped in the middle of the room. “I don't understand.” I rushed to the connecting door and opened it. My parents' side of the house was quiet. Of course, Mum and Dad had already travelled and they were not yet back. I checked just in case Ethan might be there but he wasn't.I was alone again. But this time, I didn't feel excited about it. I went back into Ethan's apartment, with my eyes scanning the place once again. There was no written note, not even a message. Then I laughed. It was a small, stupid laugh. Of course. What had I expected? That one night would suddenly become something more? I had known him for months, barely spoken to him, then thrown myself into his life the first mo
