Evan's POV

"Oh, Alpha! Do that one more time! Deeper, Alpha! Please!” sighed a woman who was currently under my body.

"Shut up! Don't tell me what to do. I'm the only one who controls you and your life!" I snapped harshly, making the woman immediately fall silent and no longer sigh.

"I'm sorry, Alpha." The woman said softly.

I closed my eyes. I bit my lower lip as I continued to ram my cock into the pussy of the woman whose name I didn't know. I only asked Beta to find me a lady of the night, even if it was of the omega rank. I just needed to fulfill my passion, without needing to know who the woman I was with was.

"Ahh! Ohh!" A sigh escaped my lips, as I continued to pound her body with my cock.

"Ahh, you're so good, Alpha," she praised as she ran her hands all over my naked body without a single piece of clothing.

I continued to enjoy her body. My eyes were closed, and I bit my lips even harder. The game was delicious, but somehow I felt like I couldn't enjoy it at all.

"Ahh, Viola." Unconsciously, I said that name.

After having intercourse that night in Edward's room, I had always thought about Viola. Even whenever I had sex with women, it was always Viola's face that I imagined.

"Alpha, why are you slowing down your body movements? Am I not satisfying enough for you?" the woman asked suddenly.

I felt her about to move her hips, but somehow I seemed to have lost my passion for her. As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw that she was also looking at me.

I quickly withdrew my cock from her body. I quickly turned my back to her, then grabbed my clothes and put them on.

"I don't want you anymore! Get the fuck out of here!" I yelled at her.

"But why, Alpha? You haven't even reached orgasm yet?"

"I'm not horny anymore. Grab the gold coins on the table and get out of my room!"

"But, Alpha ...."

"Leave, or I'll slit your throat right here and now!" I snapped, starting to get angry.

The woman looked very nervous and scared. She hurriedly grabbed her clothes on the floor, picked up a gold coin from the table, and quickly walked out of my room.

"Arghh!" I growled while ruffling my hair roughly.

"Damn it!”

I muttered, raking my hands through my hair. The tension in my chest was unbearable. No matter how hard I tried, my body refused to finish. All because of her—Viola. I growled as I stared at my still very hard erection.

I straightened my clothes, then walked to the balcony of my room. My gaze wandered ahead, and for some reason, my heart was suddenly beating very fast. I felt like something was coming.

"Why do I keep thinking about Viola? I've never thought of a single woman in my life. But why does that woman keep disturbing my thoughts? Ah, I feel something strange about her." I ruffled my hair, making me look even more charming and dashing.

Click! Click!

"Alpha Evan!"

There was the sound of footsteps, along with a voice calling my name. I, who had been standing on the balcony looking at the dense forest that was our territory, instantly turned my head and saw Reyhand, my loyal beta standing in front of me.

"What's wrong, Reyhand?"

"Alpha Edward of the Winterblood Pack and his Luna have arrived at our Pack, Alpha," Reyhand replied. His voice sounded very enthusiastic.

"What? Edward and his Luna are here?" I was very surprised to hear the news.

"That's right, Alpha."

I wasn't surprised to hear about my twin brother's arrival. But upon hearing about Edward's Luna, it instantly made my heart pound for no apparent reason.

"Really? Let's go meet them."

Followed by Reyhand, I walked quickly towards the main gate. It felt like I couldn't wait to meet them. Or rather to meet Viola.

As soon as we got there, my gaze was immediately drawn to Edward's tall and dashing figure next to an elegant dark-haired woman.

It was Viola!

Instantly my gaze was glued to her face, and for some reason, there was something about her that caught my attention. I could barely take my eyes off her.

"Evan, nice to meet you," Edward greeted with a wide smile.

I smiled back, though my mind was still centered on Viola beside my twin brother.

"Oh yes. It's nice to meet you too, Edward. Welcome to our Pack."

Even though I was talking to Edward, I always tried to steal a glance at Viola. However, the beautiful woman was still silent and looked down without looking at me at all.

"Luna, say thank you to Evan!" Edward's loud voice startled Viola.

"All right, Alpha."

I saw the woman nod quickly, then start to raise her head and look at me.

"Thank you for the welcome, Alpha Evan."

Her eyes met mine. We looked at each other for a few moments, before she looked down again. Hearing her voice and seeing her gaze, my chest tightened, and for a moment, I forgot how to breathe. It was as if there was an invisible bond connecting me to her.

"It's our honor," I said, trying to maintain a formal demeanor.

I looked away for a moment to compose myself and gave Reyhand instructions.

"Reyhand, show Edward our warrior training area!"

"Of course, Alpha." Reyhand nodded.

"Come on, I want to see how the warriors here train." Edward looked very enthusiastic.

"Let's go!"

I asked Edward and Reyhand to leave first. Meanwhile, I would soon follow. However, I just realized that Viola and I were now alone in a room that was quite quiet. It just so happened that they only came together without being accompanied by Beta and Delta. Meanwhile, the royal officials in my palace were also together with Edward.

This room was only lit by the sunlight coming in through the window, making the shadows of the two of us lengthen on the floor.

Viola walked quickly, heading to where Edward had gone with Reyhand. Perhaps she also felt awkward in this quiet atmosphere. However, I felt the opposite. Her presence made me even more interested as if there was something urgent in my chest.

Amongst the silence, the sweet, fresh scent of her body began to fill the air around me, making my wolfish instincts respond in a way I had never felt before. My heart was racing, and I seemed to feel Viola's heartbeat that I could faintly hear.

"Viola, wait!" I called as I walked quickly over to her until I was now walking hand in hand with her.

"Go away! Don't come near me!" she snapped and quickened her pace.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. I knew that she must be very angry with me, after what happened that night.

I'm usually rough with women, but with Viola, it was different. There was something about her that tore down my defenses. And that scared the hell out of me.

"Viola, don't you feel anything different when you're here with me?" I asked for confirmation.

Viola's steps stopped immediately. She turned quickly to me. Her face turned red and she looked surprised at my question.

"What do you mean?" she asked coldly, her tone full of caution.

I gathered my courage and looked at her deeply. I also tried to say what I felt.

"I... I feel that there is a bond between us. I believe this is a mate bond. You are my fated mate, Viola."

"What?"

Viola gasped in shock. Her eyes widened and her face immediately showed an expression of anger and disbelief.

"No! I'm Edward's Luna! He’s my mate. I felt the bond, I know I did … I can't—this isn't right!" she exclaimed.

Her eyes flashed sharply, and she took a step back from me with a face full of anger.

I furrowed my brows. What she said was true, but what I felt wasn't wrong either.

"Viola, I can feel it. This bond is real. I know you feel it too, right?"

However, Viola shook her head quickly.

"I already have a mate, Alpha! My fated mate is Edward, and the scent of her skin stirred something raw in me. My wolf howled silently, recognizing what I refused to admit between us during the Bluemoon festival. So I can't possibly be your mate."

Suddenly, I was silent and dumbfounded by her confession. My eyes even widened, because I was quite surprised by Viola's statement.

"What? Bluemoon?" I muttered, sensing that there was something wrong with all of this.

The Bluemoon Festival? I remembered the strange pull I felt that night, but I thought it was just the wine.

Snow spiraled violently in the courtyard, forming a rotating wall of white around the outer perimeter. This was not rogue magic. This was older. And it was focused. On her.I moved instinctively, placing myself between the gate and Viola. Chapter 48 Viola's POV Nightclaw had never felt this restless. Not even during the rogue attack. Not even when the Bloodmoon turned the sky red like an omen. The unease now was quieter. More dangerous. It lived in whispers. In glances that followed Evan when he crossed the courtyard. In the way warriors stiffened without realizing it when his aura brushed against theirs. An Alpha from Bloodwind sleeping under Nightclaw’s roof was not a small matter. An Alpha who had just claimed to be my mate, and Ethan’s father, was even less small.I stood on the balcony outside my chambers, the cold Carpathian wind biting at my skin. Snow clung to the mountain edges, glittering beneath the early morning light.Behind me, Ethan babbled to himself on the rug, stacking carved wooden wolves in uneven towers. He was humming.Happy.Unaffected.Children adapted faster than adults.Or perhaps he trusted more easily.A knock came at the door.I did not need to turn to know who it was.“Come in.”Evan ent

Chapter 47Evan's POV I had faced war councils, rogue ambushes, and territorial disputes that could have ignited full-scale bloodshed across Europe.None of them compared to standing in Nightclaw’s courtyard while my son called me Papa. The word still echoed in my mind hours later.Papa.Not Alpha. Not stranger. Not Jack.Papa.I kept my movements measured as I sparred with two Nightclaw warriors. Alpha George watched closely from the stone steps, arms folded. He did not trust me. He should not.Trust was earned. And I had much to repay. The younger warrior lunged too fast. I sidestepped, caught his wrist, twisted gently, and pressed him to one knee without injuring him.“Control your breath,” I told him evenly. “Speed without rhythm makes you predictable.”He nodded, embarrassed but respectful.I released him immediately.I was careful not to dominate. Not to release too much of my aura. Nightclaw was not my territory. I would not disrespect it.But even restrained, I could feel it.
