Chapter 90

Aaron, filled with hope and determination, saw an opportunity to bring a smile to Cersei's face and decided to invite her to dinner. His motivation was twofold: to make her happy and to celebrate the impending arrival of their unborn child.

As he mustered up the courage to extend the invitation, Aaron couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness. He wanted nothing more than for Cersei to accept his offer and spend an evening in his company.

"Cersei, would you do me the honor of joining me for dinner?" Aaron asked, trying to mask his anxiety with a calm tone.

Cersei, taken aback by Aaron's unexpected invitation, paused for a moment before responding, "Yes, I would like to go to dinner with you."

Hearing her response, Aaron's heart skipped a beat as a sense of relief washed over him. But, as Cersei added, "Remember it's just dinner and nothing more," his elation was tinged with a hint of disappointment.
