Irene finished the cup of coffee, while he kept looking at her. It made her feel uncomfortable, what was he here for? What exactly did he want from her?

"The marriage date is fixed now, my dad said it's about to take place twelve days later." As Edwin announced so, Irene put down the cup on the table with a sudden thud. She was thinking of how to stop the marriage, with Conall by her side she could think of a plan but since he distanced himself from her, she lost the hope.

"Wh-what did you say?"

"Our wedding date is already fixed, twelve days left till the wedding.." Edwin explained and she bit her lips.

Tapping her fingers on the table constantly she looked at the cup in front of her while thinking of something. Irene was kinda lost, she didn't know what to do anymore.

"Have you thought of a way yet?" She questioned, hoping he could help her.
