★★★ “What worries you here, Mr. Bugler,” Joshua said, tilting his head to the side a little, with no expression whatsoever. “What so special in him, just a pretty boy,” Joshua inwardly commented at Timothy, who did not know how purposely he was brought here. “I don’t see why not? Small businessmen like us will not be needed, yet if we ever come in handy for your help, we will be delighted,” Timothy said as he praised the man who seemed off about something. Noticing the perplexed look on Timothy’s face, Joshua could not delay in pursuing the matter. “I hear you are about to get engaged,” Joshua asked and began his plot with stern eyes that showed neither the desire to talk nor Timothy would like to speak about his personal matter. Yet he had to open his mouth because it was he who came to Joshua on purpose. “Yes, just become official yesterday,” Timothy answered, sucking a deep breath. His heart wrung hard while dejection dug into his skin. Mentioning it, he felt only despair. The
★★ “Purpose? I don't understand what kind of purpose you are talking about. Julia is your friend as you said when I asked you. So, my request is simple. I'm looking forward to dating your friend and you can help me with it, Mr.Bugler,” Joshua said to Timothy, who currently didn't know what he should do with his anger. Why was everyone so bent on hurting him? Timothy's heart wept. He wanted to move on before he was reminded of the betrayal inflicted by Julia. It is not yet known why she left him, but he did not want to hurt Stacy. She did a lot for him. Although Timothy believed that he might not like her, he was still willing to give her his name. “I'm not friends with her anymore. Maybe I overreacted, but so far I know about her character. She may not like you. I am not saying that you should not go after her. It’s just I can't help you with it anyway,” Timothy said coldly. If it looked carefully, the pain was beneath it. “I like to take my leave. And congratulation on owning the
★★★ Joshua turned over page after page and signed as his long and rough fingers held the pen with more force than it should have allotted. He was a bit out of thought and his brain pressed itself more to think of her. After what had happened in the morning, Julia had not called him even once, nor had he followed Julia. With each passing time, Joshua felt the loneliness of not having something in his arms. He was affected as his body could feel it in every inch. He wanted to be around her because he was not satisfied with the time he had spent with her. Should I ask her to go with me everywhere instead of spending her time with her friend? Joshua pondered, stopping his pen on the last page with his name on it. He threw the paper to Artin’s chest, who caught it on time before it dropped down in the road. It was an important document he had told Joshua, but he cared none. Artin closed the door and went to deliver the paper for further processing. Joshua leaned forward as his hands on
★★★★ “A drama!!” Julius repeated as he looked with curved brows at aunt Sussan before continuing, “Is my mother doing a superhero movie?” He was baffled, and his eyes continued searching for an answer in Sussan’s eyes. If it was true, then he would stay angry forever with his mother for hiding such a thing. The tears disappeared from his beautiful oceanic eyes as his tiny lips pouted. “No superhero. It is just a small advertisement. We will get to see it on tv. Exciting isn’t it?” Sussan asked Julius, who was in her arms. His face blackened seemed like he did not like his mother doing some drama. “No, not exciting at all. Mom never said she like drama and is doing something like that. Many times I have told her that I want to meet spider-man but she said that it is very difficult to meet because we are not celebrities,” Julius innocently declared whose small face was serious but looked very cute, just a piece of the moon, bright and lovely. “Oops!!” Sussan exclaimed when she felt
★★ “A dickhead!” Artin cursed only with his lips and murmured without sound at Gary. He couldn't believe that Gary the diaper had ruined such a moment. Though he didn't know what was going on in the back seat, the silence after the storm was hints of a kiss. “Urgh! Such a jerk!” Artin's mouth was more bitter than a bitter gourd, while his pupils constricted in displeasure at Gary, who opened the door, exited first so he could walk around to the other side and hold the door open for Joshua to come out. Unsettling Julia gritted her teeth and opened the door on her side and hurried to get out of the car before the bodyguards came to her aid, just like they had done for Joshua. This was because she was technically a nobody to Joshua, nor did she have any titles to be pampered. “Better to stay away from all this, especially when she knew how to walk and took care of her belongings.” She turned around, brushing her baby hair locks away from her face to behind her ears. “I-I thank you. Y
★★★ “You did well, ” Mr. Mabel voiced his wish that no trouble would follow his favorite girl while he was present. Last time he might not know the reason for her going away from her family, but he knew something must hurt this girl to her core that forced her to run away from her existence. “Thank you, uncle Mabel. I want to know how much of our property they sold for their profligate life, definitely not less,” Julia said as she took her seat on the couch next to the small tea table. Though she could make the tea, uncle Mable loved to serve his own made tea, and if anyone tasted it once, the person could not forget it all her life. She could challenge. “Ah! Properties, if there's anything left. Not only has the property been sold but your stepmother has taken a lot of loans without even thinking about how they will repay them. Besides, I can stamp on this future, those people will run away if they sell the rest of the property including the house and the company,” Mabel said and c
★★★ Julia implored Mr. Mable, "Let me take care of it, uncle.” However, she was ignored thoroughly. Mr. Mabel was examining the area for a weapon to use against the man who seemed unarmed, but who knew if he had guns on him? “No, Julia, listen to me. I can deal with him. Go upstairs, lock the door, and call the police,” Mr. Mabel suggested with a stern voice as his hand went behind to keep Julia safe. He had to make sure Julia was saved before any incident arose. “I doubt your brittle bones can withstand a single punch without crumbling,” Joshua snarled, his gaze fixated with intense anger as he spotted the elderly hand on Julia's arm. He sprinted forward to where Mr. Mabel and Julia were standing while he would make sure there will be new bones growing in him. Mr. Mabel pushed Julia gently and went forward to face Joshua. Maybe he was old, but he would do everything to save Julia. On the other hand, Julia stumbled a little from a sudden push and fell on the sofa. Mr. Mabel grab
★★★ Julia stormed out of the house and was left out of the conversation that had taken place between Joshua and Mr. Mabel. She got to see the car in the same place and those two bodyguards were nowhere to be seen. She jogged her feet to the car, her heels making harsh sounds on the road. She tightened her lips and raised one foot to kick the front tire harshly, but the shrill consequence came out of her mouth. “Ouch!! My foot!” She exclaimed. Julia bent her waist and rubbed her foot. It was not severe but the gentle touch had blown the relief breath on it. “If you know where to put your brain, perhaps you will not hurt yourself,” Joshua's tone was cutting and sharp as he spoke to Julia, who had already noticed him but didn't bother to raise her head to listen to his gibberish. “Have you gone deaf?” Joshua asked because he knew she was doing this intentionally to upset him. Julia straightened her back and then looked at the man. "I believe you have developed enough brains to make
