Trust the Process

ANA’S POV

After the bombs that first Ophelia quickly followed by Cale dropped on me this morning, I had to excuse myself from the group. I needed time alone to process everything that I had experienced over the last ten days. I left Emily’s office and headed back to my hotel room. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if my stuff would still be there. Scarlett had only paid for about two weeks when she got the room for us. The days just melted into each other and I was having a hard time keeping track.

Before I even realized it, I was standing under the awning of the hotel at the entrance. Before going in, I fished my room key card out of my purse. Taking a deep breath, I pushed through  the revolving door into the lush lobby. It was very tastefully decorated with a hint of class that wasn’t over the top, but pleasingly comfortable.
